  • It's a bit of an overreaction considering the number of doses successfully administered. But, best to be safe.

  • Between that, the million doses they accidentally allowed to go bad, and their baby powder lawsuit for giving women ovarian cancer, J&J, is a disaster. they need to work on improving the quality control on their products. the efficacy of their vaccine is only 76% anyway.

  • 8 out of a million is literally smaller odds than being struck by lightning or being eaten by a shark, but higher odds than being saved from being eaten by a shark by lighting striking the shark. Whatever the silly joke I was trying to make, I think J&J's QC blunders are much bigger news on the national level than this.

  • I think they're going to find its related to birth control. And I agree its a small percentage and they are erring on the side of caution.

  • They did not stop it. 8 is a very small number compared to the number of people without a problem.

  • The "pause" is off, based on what I read recently. The J&J vaccine is not recommended for women in a certain age range, but is considered "safe" for all others. It has the distinct advantage of being a one-dose vaccine.
