I'm not an expert but, it probably depends on what they say, act or do. Maybe they were cold because smth happened but they got over it or it got fixed today.

If you are having trouble loving someone you should serve them. This grows love. But just being with someone over time and them putting up with your weird ways and accidental hurts and forgiving them also grows love.
