Cat. Dogs are too needy and high maintenance. No, I don't want to go out 3+ times a day for bathroom breaks, and wait in the rain while someone decides the most deserving spot for its deposit. No, I don't want to go for walkies, and wait while it sniffs out its 'messages' for five minutes over and over, or tries to pick a fight with a passing dog. No, I don't want to fight to give a dog a bath because it stinks, or picked up fleas on a walk.. No I don't want to listen to the neighbors whine about it whining and howling while I'm at grocery. No, I don't need my leg humped. No, I don't like doggy breath or slobbers. I'll take a cat anyday.
