I prefer LOL because I have no idea at all what the other thing means.
-
LOL
-
neither! i am 100% anti acronym.
-
LOL
-
Laugh Out Loud = LOL!!! LMAO is to slow to type.
-
LOL
-
I try not to use them ever, though I may say "lawlz" or "roffle."
-
LOL I hardly ever us LMAO
-
LMAO all the way.
-
I don't like the vernacular. When I find an answer or comment amusing, I would rather just say so. We aren't limited in our time, or size, so why on earth would we want to do away with all the exciting, expressive words available to us in the English language?
-
It really depends upon how amused I am...lol, lmao, and Roflmao are all up for use!
-
I use LOL a lot more than LMAO
-
LMAO
-
LOL, to lazy to type anything longer.
-
lol, MUCH more than lmao... I can't even remember the last time I used 'lmao' properly in a sentence, but I say lol all the time online : P
-
LOL unless it's REALLY funny.
-
LoL = Lot's of Laughs in my book.
-
I use LOL because I don't like cursing, and if I wouldn't say it in RL, I shouldn't say it in acronym, which is why I don't use it with F either. When I see other people use the extended versions, it signifies a more intense response. I simply stick to lower case or upper case to identify intensity... and the occassional ROTFLOL.
-
Well, I really hate using ALL of those things, (and the smiley faces), but if I don't people tend to think I'm alot meaner than I really am. So, I have to use "lol" sometimes. Poo.....
-
LOL ~ it's faster.
-
Why, do you want to join my club? http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/111793
-
Both are for little kids and immature adults. Men who type lol or :) should be punched in the face.
-
LOL (--,)
-
I have phases. Right now, my phase is neighter lol or lmao, it's this face ----> =)
-
Neither, unless it'a absolutely avoidable, and it almost always is. LOL and LMAO may be the two most overused acronyms on the internet. When you're typing an answer or question and you chuckle to yourself, ask yourself if your post benefits in any way from adding those letters. LOL and LMAO should be reserved for those times when you're genuinely laughing out loud at something.
-
I like LOL, i also use 'he he' when i am chuckling rather than really laughing out loud. These, and smileys help me to express the parts of my communication that are non-verbal. I don't like LMAO though, i think it's crude.
-
I type out my ha's, depending on how many are deserved.
-
neither...im a person, not a robot
-
I use lol's more than lmao's, but I use :)'s more that lol's.
-
I use LoL unless I am actually busting a gut laffing.
-
I use LOL unless I really think something is funny.
-

Just lately I have been ROFL'ing alot and also LOL'ing but I only really LMAO when its a killer answer.
-
LOL is the one I use the most!!!!!!!!
-
LOL it is fast and easy.
-
not sure LOL
-
lol..
-
i use your mom
-
Obviously LOL...acronyms derived from laziness (truth hurts) laziness formed a way to convey the same message with less effort. Not only does LOL consist of 1 letter lets..it's letters are 1 key away and the L is repeated twice vice the A (which are clear across the KB) and M 2 keys away. "The greatest inventors were the laziest of peoples" haha not always true but funny indeed
-
lol! erm i'd say LMAO!! or my own one - LLAN = laugh like a nutter!!!
-
LOL and ROTFLMAO.
-
I actually use ROFLOL so I guess LOL
-
lol is more popular these days
-
LOL...It has been around longer, can be used without offending (note what the "A" is for), takes less time to type, and seems to have wider acceptance.
-
Lol. it's easier for most novices.
-
LOL
-
LOL, all the time! (lol)
-
Lol. But LMAO only a few times.
-
Neither, I use HAHAHAHAH.
-
I use lol and brb, the rest I type out. Not much for lazy-speak.
