  • In the country suburbs we do have deer, and woodchucks, skunks, raccoons, opossums, foxes, coyotes, rabbits, and once a moose. Besides birds.

      Same here, thanks.
  • Deer is common on the outskirts of Charlotte, NC (where I live). Owls are seen from time to time. My neighbor across the street has kept pet roosters and goats in his yard. I think squirrels are cute unless they are in my yard. They have eaten a whole through my roof before. One day recently I came home and this large Hawk was on my lawn. He must've been frightened from my arrival and took off. He dropped something from his talons as he left. Apparently he'd killed one of the pesky squirrels in my trees. I called for him to come back. He was welcome to take all the squirrels he wanted from my yard.

I hear what you're saying about the squirrels, I've had my fair share of problems with the little bastards too. They die of lead poisoning in my yard, if you know what I mean.
