  • I have heard of it before. They claim to be accredited, but I never heard of the authority who issued the accreditation, so you will need to do more research into it. I suggest you start with the excellent article at Answers.com about valid school accreditation. You can also get a quick answer from your state department of education, just send them the information you have (or can find online) about the school and see if they accept the diploma. I homeschooled my sons and grandsons, and I have discovered it is really important that their diploma be issued by a valid agency, which you can find through your state. http://www.answers.com/topic/school-accreditation
  • nop its a scam the same guy always answers the phone he was an indain man im guessing and not even my local colleges dont except it that shit sucks i spent almost 400$$ no lie and no its down the drain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Its a scam, I took the test and the dead giveaway after finishing I will not say the giveaway because they will change their website. Just trust me when I say I didn't fall for it. So I went back through the course under a different log in and tried the exam again this time I chose all wrong answers and passed again. IACOOS is not a legitimate accreditation body. It is not recognized by the Department of Education and the website give little to no information on instituted accredited by them(Scam giveaway). Anyone reading this please do not pay these clowns. I didn't. If its too easy its probably too good to be true. I have fallen for scams before, I know what to look for so I say again do not purchase a diploma from these leeches.
  • Yes. check the other posts in this forum on the same subject.
  • A Big elaborate scam. If you want proof, have a 5 year old choose answers on the test and watch him pass.
  • I spoke with a Student advisor on a live chat and his name was Mark. I asked him how much to do the test and how many attempts to pass. He said only one attempt for $299.00. But the web site said you can attempt the test as many times as you want for free untill you pass then pay the 299 for the graduation package. It just seemed that he was unsure, confused or didn't know what he was talking about.
  • LOL online HIGH SCHOOL diploma???? omg. Damn...wish I'd have thought of marketing that.

  • I want to take this SCAM down. Help me do it. First, I'll give my story. I took the test on this website, and passed with all above 80. Each test has about twenty questions. Incredibly ridiculous. I wasn't too sure about it, so I didn't pay yet. The next day, a man called me claiming to be from Adison High School Online. He was Indian, and said his name was John Smith. He sounded very confused. (can you believe the man actually used John Smith as his alias?) A lady posted in a little thing online, quite like this that she actually paid for the test after she passed. The next morning, collections caller her and asked her books of questions. In the end, she was not getting her money nor her documents. They also stated that the documents were printed in another country. Government officials may or may not know about this situation, and how common it is. We need to help them learn. And let them know that online scams in general are making the American population angry, and less faithful in their leaders. Please, help me get rid of these monsters.
  • ITS A HUGE SCAM... I TOOK THE TEST AND PASSED ..LOL BIG SUPRISE .. I PAID THE MONEY LIKE A DUMBASS .. THEN WHEN I RECEVIED MY "DIPLOMA" IT WAS FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY ... I CALLED THEM AND ASKED SEVRAL QUESTIONS REGUARDING THE DOCUMENTS ... THEY TOLD ME THAT ITS CHEAPER FOR THEM TO PRINT THE "DIPLOMA" OVER SEAS ... I DEMANDED MY MONEY BACK ... I GOT MY MONEY BACK BUT THEY CHARGED MY LIKE 100 BUCKS FOR SUM FEE ..... FUCK ADISON HIGH SCAM.......
  • I cant thank you enough I was considering paying for it, I also passed with all 80 percent. The nerve! Josh Matthews promised me it was a ligitament diploma. Thank God, and you of corse I didnt pay, cant we report them? What about the better buisness bureo?
  • Scam (Trust your instincts) My brother, almost got scammed by these jerks. He did not fisish high school and thought that was a fine opportunity for him to get his life back on track. After he took the test he called me and ask for assistance in paying for the diploma. The Guy on the other line ( Josh mathews) called him and said that he was getting a 15% discount off the price of $299 if he acted in a day. I thought that was a bit shady and logged in on the website as my brother and asked Josh for verification of the instutution which he represents (Adison High School). He said that they were in Los Angeles and that the diploma is legitimate. However, I told him that I got the vibes that all they were after was the money and he denied it (Hah! Big Surprise). he said that I should call him to talk about it and that he was sending me a link in my email to pay for the diploma. The one thing that prevented me form paying for the diploma was a very simple answer I got from a question I ask Josh. I ask him why do I have to call them in order get the discount, why can't I log into my like other schools do and access my account. I waited for 5 minutes without getting an answer for him. His answer was I will email you a link again and pay for it that way. Hey Josh ( if that is even your real name) I' no DUMB ASS. You and your phony buddies will pay for this. i will not stop until you are caught.
  • Our son took the tests this evening. He passed all parts except for the language arts - yet the site said that he 'earned' a high school diploma. When I called the 24/7 contact number to ask about the language arts part of the test, a Representative told me that my son 'passed' the language arts with an 86% and that we were just looking at the 'wrong screen' - but I knew that he had not passed that part of the test yet. He then told me that we earned a 5% discount because his scored over 905. Thank goodness we were able to get to the credit card company and block the payment before it went thru. We were almost taken by this scam.
  • Read below and see how Adison High School Diploma is better than a GED: Adison High School Diploma GED GED Anyone can enroll at Adison High School, even if you were enrolled in another High School. Students who take the GED exams must not be enrolled in or graduated from a high school. Students less than the age of 18 can apply with parents’/guardians’ consent. Students must be over the age of sixteen. You can take the test at your own pace from anywhere online. GED is awarded when a student passes a series of tests in five academic subjects in a row. GED is awarded when a student passes a series of tests in five academic subjects in a row A traditional high school diploma, providing complete credential verification will be certainly considered by institutions/employers. Most of the employers hiring at entry-level positions and institutions might not consider a GED score as comparable to an actual diploma
  • OMG , thanks you guys alot , i almost believe it :)) ... I have no idea is it a real diploma or not , so i'm just get into google , and search about it , then i see this site ...
  • Well I work in the admission's Department at a college. After careful review and extensive research all of it points to this diploma not being legit. I have spoken to 3 other colleges who DO NOT recognize this school as accredited. My advice STAY AWAY! I have a student who cannot enroll in my school due to this adison joke.

SO I FIGURED IT WAS LEGITE BUT IT IS NOT. I CAN NOT GET INTO ANY COLLEGE. ADISON HIGH SCHOOL IS A RIPOFF AND WE SHOLD SUE THEIR ASS AND ALL GET OUR MONEY BACK OR ALEAST SHUT THEM DOWN.
  • If you did or even considered paying for this, you don't deserve a document saying you have intelligence! Most of you can't spell(yeah I noticed) and anyone that thinks taking a 15 minute test is the equivalent of 4 years of high school deserves nothing more than to continue their career at the local McDonalds!
  • i dont know about adison, but listen,i took the test almost guessing and i pass it,i didnt pay,but i want to join the army,so i bough it from another one, dont buy thes diplomas, the name is belford high school.i pay 249 dollars,is not good for the military,Ithink the FBI have to do something about this cuz they are offering diplomas peace of paper like diplomas.
  • is there anyway we can get our money back???
  • No, Is no a good diploma I got scammed by this guys I took the test and pass it then it ask me if i wanted a higher GPA but I had to paid more. Unfortunately I went for it because all I wanted was to get the diploma one way or another. Now after 3 years I tried to enroll with the Air Force and they told me it was not a good diploma that it was not accredited, so now I'm pretty much screw because I'm 21 years old and I don't know if I can get a high school diploma it looks like I'm going to have to settle for a GED. For everyone out there thinking to get a so called diploma from this school Adison High pleased DON'T because it not a good diploma. I'm trying to find out a way to report this school with the police or other authorities

  • My husband and I paid these pricks also. I called the BBB and they told me that you have to call the secret service because they are actually located in Dubai!
  • is adison high school accredited
  • It is not a scam, it is a genuine high school that provides affordable online diplomas. There were many other reviews but these two moved me lot. I have clearly understood that Adison HighSchool is no scam. To cross check verification thing, I called customer support. They verified my documents and given me an assurance that whoever comes for the verification, they will always get satisfactory answers. Later, my employer called Adison to verify my documents and contrary to my fears, everything went perfectly smooth.
  • Adison High School is a genuine high school offering top quality online education. To check and verify the facts kindly visit. www.adisonhighschool.com for more info.
  • Why pay anyone money to take a test. You can make(fake) your own diploma and transcripts with a computer, printer and good paper.
  • I work in education for a major University in Virginia. I have been in admissions for over 2 and a half years. Several people have tried to get in using Adison and they were rejected because they are a diploma mill. They may give you a diploma and say they are legitimate, but they are not. Colleges and Universities will not accept their degrees. Employers may end up contacting them and have the wool pulled over their eyes- but taking a test does not mean you received a dimploma. Take it from me- go and EARN your diploma or get your GED. Don't be ashamed of the GED. In many circles it is as recognized as a high school diploma and you have to earn it. It is not just a test. You take a pre-test to assess where you are and then you take classes to prepare for the real deal. http://www.acenet.edu/resources/GED/center_locator.cfm Here is a website to help you find a GED center close to you. If anyone wants any kind of educational advise, please email me at maluckey@liberty.edu. I would love to help you.
  • Ok for those who said that the tests where pretty much rigged, you're full of bull. I ended up making multiple logins and took the tests multiple times. When i talked to the representitive and told her that i ended up making multiple accounts she replied by saying that they would use the account that scored the highest. The fact is that the way adison works is they make a balancing of the scores when the kid in a previous entry passed with an 85% it was an average of his scores. I have also used the degree and got into college so that "fact" is blasphemie. I also on multiple accounts failed and those were anounced if they were the only test scores i got wouldn't have gotten me my degree. they also take the credits you got in high school and factor them in. Most online schools don't and you pretty much have to start from scratch. But if you don't beleive it then don't i'm not the one to make up your mind for you you have to. and plus they don't ask you for a payment until after you take the tests and only if you want the paper form and transcripts.
