If it's not "1-0," "asdf," or "jkl;" I am eyeing the keyboard like someone who is new to the technology.
-
For some reason, my main hang ups are with "W" and "X."

I took a year of typing in high school, so I don't look at all. TYPING CLASS: DEFINITELY A MUST-HAVE!!! It is a priceless tool in college, work and home!

I took TWO years of typing, and graduated the faster typist in my class =) I don't look at the keys. Heck, I don't even need to look at the screen. I can do 70 wpm with about 95% accuracy, blindfolded.

babycakes- Most letters... Oh, on the computer exercises question...I get out for a 20 minute walk most days, which gets me exercise, fresh air, sunshine, and clears my head. BTW - you have a great smile...I'm half Sicilian bc. How Italian are you? Ever been there? I've been twice. <Rickster asks shyly> (Photo by Rickster)

Yeah it's the 21st century. And I think everyone should know the keys on a keyboard because they're not going anywhere anytime soon.
-
None. And I know that on the F, the J, and the 5 (on a numerical keypad)there is a raised bump, so that is where the index fingers go for typing in the dark, or, on numbers, where the second finger rests for 10-keying.
-
most of them lol
-
No, I had an excellent typing teacher at school who used to rap our knuckles with a ruler if we looked at the keys.
-
I'm Ok with the letters but , and. I will never locate without looking.

Cool question. I don't look at all; I learned to touch-type about 30 yrs ago. I do it all the time, and make surprisingly few errors.

Yes I do, I can't type without looking, but my time here on AB is slowly changing that.

Usually the special characters, comma and period.

I don't have to look for any of the letters, but numbers and special characters I do.

The letters M and N. I always get them mixed. The really bad one is the dollar sign, I will hunt and search for that darn thing. Yup over the four were it always is.
-
I don't have to look for any of the letters, but I do have to look for all of the number keys and just about all of the more exotic punctuation keys, e.g. ~ ,(I know where the comma is ;)) {, }, |, , <, _, -, and >.
-
If I'm using non alphabetical keys I have to. I typed all this without looking.
-
None, I usually use the "type and see what you get method" then after typing a bit I know where almost all the keys are.
-
