  • They are divinely delicious and nutritious too. They are well worth the bother.
  • delicious and nutritous! I love pistachios. I eat a two pound bag in a week!
  • Generally I take the attitude that if I have to work to eat it, I don't. I'm that way about boiled shrimp, the little, tiny Reese's peanut butter cups, etc. But, I love pistachios, so I go ahead and shell-n-eat.
  • I love them in Ice Cream.
  • Delicious, I always look for the strays first though, the ones that are for some reason not in their shell... They contrast against everything else, like little green treasure.
  • 1) I find Pistachios delicious (if you sort the bad ones out). Many people like them, I think. 2) Like most other kind of nuts which are relatively easy to open, I prefer to work a little to get them out of their shells than to buy some ready to eat: - I know better what I am eating - there is not something to make them taste better, such as salt (I would rather put it myself, if I wanted) - I do not eat so many, which is better for maintaining your weight 3) "This food is very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Vitamin B6, Copper and Manganese." Like all nuts, they are relatively high in monounsaturated fat, which has been shown to lower blood cholesterol, and are low in saturated fat, while containing no cholesterol. Pistachios are loaded with potassium, thiamine (B1), vitamin B6 and iron, and are also a good source of calcium. The nuts are a fun and healthful snack" Source: http://www.bedemco.com/nuts/pistachios.htm
  • They are delicious and VERY nutritious. They are great eaten right out of the shell and great added to foods, both sweet and savory. In season, we always have a dish of them out on our island in the kitchen.
  • I won't really know since I am highly allergice to all types of nuts.
