  • Knowledge to me is this: Something which is true, fully believed, and supported by evidence. All 3 parts are required I think, as I'll explain: It needs to be true, otherwise it is simply a belief It needs to be believed, otherwise you don't have the knowledge of it, this is fairly obvious... lol It needs proof of some kind, otherwise (even if it's true) it is still a belief, as shown in this example: Lets say 1'000 years ago, there is a debate between whether Earth is round or flat, both sides of this argument believe that they are correct, so they fulfill that requirement of knowledge, and one side is true, yet without the PROOF of their truth, they cannot claim knowledge (Ask the question "how do they know?". Simply, they don't know, they believe it to be true, and it also happens to be true) So yeah... That's my definition of Knowledge Something which is true, and fully believed with proof. Any thoughts/criticisms/etc?

  • Knowledge is an assimilation of facts that we accumulate by learning, studying, personal observation and life experiences.
  • Information that one possess. Can be contained within, but increasingly it is just contacts as in where to find, who to ask, and most importantly knowing when you don't know. The last could well be wisdom if after not knowing you are not afraid to admit it -- in which case politics may not be your field.
  • Knowledge is familiarity with facts acquired by experience, observation, or study.
