-
Numbers cus since there is more numbers than letters the numbers will take the letters down!!
-
Pardon the graphic nature, but It's hilarious...
-
Numbers would win hands down , over lettters any day of the week. lol, and iam beting 50 bucks, so ha.
-
Numbers would win because once the letters were floored they would be out for the COUNT,sorry couldnt resist that one.
-
Numbers,Letters would be out numbered. There's just not enough letters to win the war!!
-
Numbers are the only universal constant. Numbers are hardcore. Numbers would win any day.
-
In order to place a bet you would do so with numbers. Without a doubt numbers are supreme! Who can argue?
-
numbers would win
-
Letters easily. There are only 10 numbers, and 26 letters, so they've the numbers outnumbered. Plus, the letters have more sharp edges than the numbers - can you imagine a fight between 8 and K? Finally, the numbers can only call upon a small number of reinforcements, such as +, - and so on, whereas the letters can call upon the whole of the punctuation for assistance. Letters, hands down.
-
Numbers hands down, no one ever said, "There's strength in letters." lol Cute question.
-
Numbers
-
Numbers would clobber the letters hands down..20 bucks.
-
Letters would win because they have a tendency to stick together in an orderly fashion which indicates clear thinking and the ability to strategize. Numbers are all over the place forming alliances with different digits at the drop of a hat.
-
I think it would be a god fight but words can always form together to make some MEAN words! DIE, SLAUGHTER things like that. If they formed those words and then followed that action the letters would win. You know you are up way too late and so tired that you start choosing sides between a fight between numbers and letters, lol!
-
Letters. You can always represent a number by spelling it.
-
Letters for sure.
-
For some reason I'm thinking numbers!
-
Numbers would win. Inf numbers vs 52 letters...
-
letters are outnumbered by the numbers lol
-
Letters! You could still spell out numbers, or use Roman Numerals (comprised of letters.)
-
numbers. There are more of them.
-
I'd say numbers, because they are a universal "language". Nearly every tangible thing can be broken down into a mathematical equation, so that makes me think that numbers would kick letter's butt. lol.
-
Numbers because if you keep wiping them out, i.e. taking them away, you get even more (negative numbers). Besides, the numbers cannot die because there is even a number for nothing, zero, and the letters have 'space' (which isn't even a letter)! Also the numbers can duplicate - 9 9s giving you 81, all the letters can do is a H - giving you only one H. Letters are bound by rules, no word in the English language is devoid of vowels or substitute vowels there are no such rules with the combination of numbers thus they have more power over letters. Numbers can change form making them harder to defeat - 0.8 , 80% / 4/5, can letters bost the same? Numbers have infinite incriments from one number to the next, letters onlt have the odd difference in pronunciation. Numbers have POWERS, letters only have big and little. So I am confident that numbers would win.
-
Numbers. Even reduced to binary, numbers can stretch infinitely in either direction. Letters just stop. And there IS strength in NUMBERS, as mentioned previously.
-
letters would win
-
Numbers. Letters don't count.
-
There wiil no be the only one winner, they will be two winners- Letters and Numbers.
-
Who needs numbers when we have Roman Numerals?
-
Numbers would win. Numbers are infinite, but there's only 26 letters. Letters are way outnumbered. Wow, the word number has lost all meaning to me now...
-
letters We see all this talk about numbers being infinite...Who says you can't do the same with letters? Without letters you would only have binary and decimal....no hex
-
numbers obviously cuz they go on to infinity and letters are limited to 26
-
definately letters, there are more pages of books than there is math, besides I'm not typing in numbers 348201828493u443.45..2.3432=5456543/345234666643234
-
The largest currently known prime # , 232,582,657– 1, was found by Dr. Curtis Cooper and Dr. Steven Boone of Central Missouri State University on Sept. 4, 2006. It has 9,808,358 digits. Top that with letters.
-
When numbering items i.e. # 1) to infinity) Alphabetically you can only go from A)- Z)!
-
letters, they can form numbers :D.
-
i would say numbers because if you say numbers 1,2,3 etc out loud there more dominant and theres more of them where as you say abc's etc you end up singing them and there arn't as many.lol
-
I'll take $20 exacta & box it on the letters ABC
-
Numbers, because the NEVER END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Numbers because there is an infinite amount of them, plus they have 42 on their side.
-
Yay! 42nd answer!
-
Numbers are more hard-assed than letters.
-
Well, numbers for 2 reasons: They haven numbers on their side and What they lack in brains they make up for in numbers :)
-
letters could spell out DESTROY ALL NUMBERS then they would win!
-
Numbers because there are an infinite amount.
-
Numbers, there's a lot more numbers than letters. The letters would be outnumbered...so to speak:)
-
Well there are 26 letters and only 10 numbers sure... but the numbers would MULTIPLY!!
-
I'd like to place $50 to win on numbers and $20 on a place; and $50 to win on words and $20 on a place. Hah! I win. Oh no wait, you didn't announce the odds..damn, no wonder I've got no money..
-
Ther are 10 numbers and 26 Letters. So Numbers would be outnumbered. Get It, Out numbered.
-
numbers
-
numbers because they have the letters countlessly outnumbed.
-
If you said numerals, I would agree since there are only 10 of them, but numbers are an infinite set; and there for, on the "marching chinamen" theory would sooner or later win. And I'm not a math major,
-
Think about it 7 8 9. I don't think the letters would have a chance against number 7. I say GO NUMBERS!!
-
can letters multiply? fights are won in numbers.
-
I would say numbers because they're a universal language.
-
Letters, for this reason. Every time a number is produce/said for ex. 20, it produces twenty. 2 numbers versus six letters, not going to work out for them too good.
-
NUMBERS! BECAUSE THERES MORE NUMBERS THEN THERE IS LETTERS.
-
Letters are limited. Numbers aren't. Therefore, I wager Numbers would win :)
-
numbers, they outnumber the alphabet!!!!!!
-
You can't have cash without numbers
-
Numbers have them beat, there's just too many of them!
-
Er, letters, BY FAR! If it weren't for them, we wouldn't be writing these comments and answers.
-
numbers easy, soon as you get to 10 it's a knockout:)
-
letters for sure. even numbers rely on letters (aka variables) to find themselves.
-
Numbers win, 4 sure!
-
numbers. thay are more numbers then letters. so the numbers would win.
-
numbers because theyre infinite the letters could kill trillions of them but theyre wud still be trillions more
-
Words are the most powerful weapon ever devised. Words cover a multitude/an infinite number of circumstances...numbers only matter when counting/accounting is the focus. Words win, hands down, no contest! :) Happy Saturday! :)
-
Numbers. They are the true universal language.
-
numbers b/c there's a LOT of them!
-
The odds favor the numbers
-
I agree with chrisdg. Letters would dominate hands down.
-
Numbers they are an intfent number of numbers;there are only 26 letter
-
Numbers.
-
numbers obviously because numbers are mathmatically infinite.
-
Numbers are "infinitely" more powerful than 26 letters.
-
Numbers, better odds.
-
Numbers?
-
Numbers there's an infinite amount of them. Even if you go outside the english language no language has an infinite amount of letters sheer dominance of numbers (Pun intended)
-
Offcouse Numbers as they have certain value but letters have none :)
-
numbers easily. letters can talk the talk but numbers can really add up to something spectacular
-
there's power in numbers
-
i'd pick numbers ESPECIALLY if we are betting dollars on it.. no numbers=no dollars
-
numbers cause you can count on them for anything lol
-
Numbers. There is an infinite amount of them, not to mention pi and e
-
letters, but only if they're capital.
-
Numbers are infinite, while letters obviously aren't. Which means ... letters would get their asses kicked "to the bottom of the coconut tree" hehehehe
-
Numbers of course! Even though letters can form up to make words numbers never stop!
-
Numbers because there are only 26 letters, and numbers have the ability to multiply and Roman numerals have the ability to divide and conquer
-
But... But... Rhyme and Reason!
-
numbers have romens and Jason Voorhees on ther side (fri. the 13th) letters bow down
-
Numbers they can make more combinations
-
who can spell Knock Out
-
Why is six afraid of seven? Because seven ate (8) nine. Numbers are lethal. Not to mention the mathematical equations that would eat any concept of words we could come up with to explain them. That's what calc. is for.
-
Letters. Letters form together into little groups we call words that can spell out numbers with. One Two Three! (and more!)
-
There's an infinite number of meaningful numbers. Even if you put together all the words of all the languages of the world, you'd still have a finite number. Here's the killer number though; the superhero among numbers: ∞
-
Numbers because they can multiply.
-
Numbers coz letters stop at Z and numbers go on until trillions and zillions.
-
puh leeease. definitely letters!!!! they outnumber the numbers
