First, I hope that I will accually get to retire. Right now, I am not putting anything towrds it, and I'm already 25. In the hopeful event that I am able to retire, I would like to travel - this means saving even more money for that! Chances are I will get a part time job to keep busy, but I won't put up with the crap jobs I have had so far!

Continue to travel the world and see all that i can

What I'm doing - which is ANYTHING I WANT. Garden. Read and read and read. Discuss books with friends. Entertain. Mess around on the computer with things like AB. Work on my website. Travel to great destinations. Do photo restoration. Paint and draw. Enjoy my kids, spouse, and siblings. Try new stuff. Watch Netflix movies. Retirement is a blast, and I am never bored.

I did retire a long time ago. And I took various courses in things that I always wanted to know. But after some time, I found being retired so boring that I tried everything to work again. But your job must be good for you.

First I'll rest up, then I'd like to go and see all the natural wonders out in the western U.S. I've never been farther west than Erie, PA. Then I'd like to go back and see Nova Scotia. I remember I liked it a lot when my family vacationed there back in 1963. I was a wee tyke back then, but it made an impression. Then maybe I'll get a part-time job to keep busy when I'm not resting.

Retire from what? I am 66 years old, collecting Social Security, and I work at home. I never get a day off, there is no such thing as a holiday, weekend, or vacation. I am completely in charge of what I do and when I do it. I choose when I will go to sleep and when I will wake up, and I decide which task I will do. I am a housekeeper, a meal planner, a cook, I do the laundry, and all the other daily household chores. No day goes by with some of this work getting done. I can travel 250 miles on a trip, and there is still work at both ends of the trip.

Go to classes - like stained glass, pottery, that kind of thing; go for walks; make jam; bake all my own bread and cakes etc; watchday time telly; travel at off-peak times ( I currently can only travel in school holidays - twice the price!) study; read; have friends over for coffee (to use up all those home made cakes etc); learn to play the harp; relax and have fun!
