  • Sounds like you need Cheerios.
  • You're going to have to find a good source of protein! That will be tough as a vegetarian. Try buying soy protein (comes in all sorts of flavours) and adding it to skim milk, cereal, anything it will taste okay with. Eat a lot of potatoes, pumpkin and starchy carbs. Breads and pasta and so on. You'll probably have to eat even when you aren't hungry - to ensure you are over-stocking on calories. Get into a gym and do some good, heavy weights routines. Avoid, or minimise (for a while) aerobic exercise like running, cycling, swimming and so on.
  • Reduce cholestrol by eating a big clove of garlic and 2 tablespoons of cider vinegar a day
  • take skimmed milk 1 table spoon, 2 table spoon oats, 2 table spoon protein suppliment powder with warm water twice a day, 1 table spoon olive oil. And do dumbell excercise four days in a week. 30 mnts of brisk walk five days in a week. Dont eat meat or other diary products or liquer. eat more veg salads.
  • The absolute most effective way to reduce cholesterol is to not eat anything that is from an animal. Animal products are the only source of cholesterol. Milk products contain quite a bit of it. Our body manufactures cholesterol, and don't seem to be designed to cope with an abundant dose of it for many. Have you ever heard of a vegan with arteriosclerosis? Exercise, and relaxation are proven to lower cholesterol. Oat meal also helps. I don't know much about trying to gain weight. If I didn't do cardio, and weights, I would probably weigh 300 pounds. Great to have a super efficient metabolism if food is scarce. Not so great for me in modern society. Many are jealous of you. You might try foods rich in olive oil. You could also consult with a registered dietitian. Good luck, and thanks for going veg!
  • My dad swears that a daily bowl of oatmeal lowered his.
  • not sure how to reduce cholestrol, but cheese and milk is bad??? oh, fu*k. im screwed!!!! i eat cheese and drink milk at least 3x's a day!!! FU*KKKKK
  • Gaining weight with a high metabolism isn't easy. I've been the same height and weight (6'0", 150-155lbs) for about 20 years now despite a diet full of bad food. Meat, cheese (LOTS of cheese!), eggs, carbs, tofu, you name it. Despite it all, I have normal blood pressure, cholesterol, and everything, and can't gain weight no matter what. While there are many tips here for cholesterol, I think your body will *seriously* fight any attempts to bulk up.
