  • It may be going dormant, it may be in semi-shock. Wait and see. I would rather it is the last and not the first. bogenvilla are tropical and as far as I know do not actually go dormant. However they do go into shock and of course can die. In most zones they are considered an annual in the USA, because the freeze kills. I would hold on to it, put it in a sunny window, keep it warm and stop moving it around. Let it do what it wants it may start acclimatizing to the indoors. I know that many types of plants do 'die' a bit when moved from full sun to full shade, they drop their bright light adapted leaves and grow darker shade adapted leaves.
