  • Being a New Hampshire native/resident, I can tell you that it still has many. Besides being home to a lot of beautiful scenery, New Hampshire also boasts a booming maple syrup industry and a growing urban sector in the southernmost parts of the state. New Hampshire also is home to part of the Nextel Cup (NASCAR) every year at the speedway in Loudon. Most people will think of New Hampshire especially in election times - we hold the first presidential primary in the nation!
  • New Hampshire's "Claim to Fame" is most likely the entire range of the White Mountains (plus the various foothills and monadnocks in the state). Mount Washington, with its many faces for climbing & skiing, stands above the rest, but the hut system maintained by the Appalachian Mountain Club, the Cog Railway, the various notches, the fall foliage, and the cooler mountain air bring people for a "range" of reasons. Add to that our tax-free shopping and we offer the visitor a lot to do, see, and experience.
