  • In a sense it is false. If a child is being abused then I feel it is time to step in and take action!
  • The only parents I know QUALIFIED to discipline children are the Cleavers and the Huxtables. All other parents undergo "on the job training".
  • If you're disciplining you child in a foolish/cruel manner i feel most adults, with balls, will make it there business.
  • False - teachers at school and army trainers are qualified too.
  • False.
  • Yes, Fully agree, but like others have said.. unless it goes too far, but you said discipline, so YES. Geez, when I was alot younger.. Even my friends parents had permission to tan my ass if I had been misbehaving, I see no problem with parents being allowed AT ALL. I think I was only slapped maybe 5 times in my WHOLE childhood, but I learned my lesson EVERY single time. Like when I bit my Mum when I was 3, She bit me back (Softly)... I never bit her (Or anyone) again Lol
  • FALSE...define "qualified". if simply being a parent automatically qualified one to discipline a child there would be no child abuse.
  • False. Who's child? Thiers? Others? If such is truly 'discipline' then the parent shouldn't have a problem with being observed? After all, they monitor voting processes to prevent abuse.
  • As long as there is no unnecessary hitting and no abuse, yes ppl should mind their own business.
  • No a true parent is always open to positive input regarding possible techniques that work in terms of punishment or discipline
  • False. Anyone can become a parent. Having sex and giving birth DOES NOT mean that a person understands how to raise a child. Simply being a parent does not mean you are qualified at all. - And everyone should make it their business if a parent is 'disciplining' a child in a cruel manner. Heck, if I saw someone assaulting their child, I'd sure as hell make it my business, and possibly the business of the police too.
