Yes, along with its contents.

Yes I would, and I would hope that if I lost mine that it would be returned to me also.
-
Yes, I would.
-
Yes, absolutely. That person would be so relieved to get everything back. I know that is it happened to me, I would.
-
Yes I would
-
Yes, I would, with a note that read, as follows: "I saw this dude running down the street with your wallet and I tackled him, but he overpowered me and ran away, leaving your wallet laying on the sidewalk. I am sending it to you the way the thief abandoned it during our struggle, and if it ever had any money in it, I guess the thief took it with him, but thank the Good Lord that I was able to recover your driver's license and credit cards for you. I'm not signing this note or otherwise identifying myself, because I don't want any kind of reward." +5

Yes I would. Mine got lost like that once and it was returned to me with everything and the money still inside. What a relief it was! The person who brought it back to me didnt want anything even though I really wanted to show me appreciation. +++
-
Absolutely. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't.
-
Yeah id mail it to the person but it would cost them 300 dollar finders fee
-
I'd turn wallet in (with license and credit cards) at a police station - minus the cash (which I would use to reward myself with for being so conscientious).
-
Yes, with everything still in it.
-
I would make sure the person who lost it got their identification (license) back. I would also send all their credit cards back. I would send it return receipt requested it.
-
I've returned a woman's purse with over $1700 in cash in it.
-
I would because it had happened to me before. It was not 300 it was like 45 bucks but still I wouldnt want that somebody to miss it, you never know their financial issues if they have any. I would like somebody to return my wallet back.
-
I would return it...anonymously. My daughter (14) and 2 or her friends found a Prada wallet with a driver's license, and $200 in cash. They took it to the police station. They didn't leave their names because if there was anything missing from the wallet they didn't want to be accused...(no good deed goes unpunished). The lady who the wallet belonged to, placed an ad in the newspaper thanking the 3 girls who turned it in.
-
Yes I would, with everything still in it.
-
Yes I would, because I would hope the same would be done for me. Hopefully doing the right thing would get passed on by them someday and so on and so on. :)
-
Of course. I cannot imagine why anyone wouldn't who was a decent human being.
-
Yes. But to be honest with you, I'd probably keep the money.
-
i have returned wallets and purses a few times w everything inside.
-
I would and I'd try and not let it be known who did it. "The reward is the deed, not the praise of another"
-
YES! It may be some familie's grocery money.
-
Without a second thought but without mentioning my name of course.
-

-
Yes, all of it. If anyone were to find mine if I lost it I would gladly give them all the cash in it, as a reward for returning the rest. +3
-
Yesss. I'd feel awful if I didnt!
-
Yes, all of it. If anyone were to find mine if I lost it I would gladly give them all the cash in it, as a reward for returning the rest. +3
-
Yep. I am NEVER so bad off that I would consider financially harming another individual for my own gain.
-
Yes, I returned a purse that had almost $2000. in it. +5
-
I would return everything. I like the little opportunities that people have to find out who they really are...the ones when no one else is looking. +
-
Most definitely.
-
Yes I would! Without a doubt! I know how I would feel if that happened to me. And I'd hope someone else would do the same. Even if they took the money, I'd still be happy. Good question nutmeg!!! +5
-
I would try to find him on Facebook, and if it showed his address, I would return it to his door. Or if I couldn't find him myself, I would return it to the police station and get them to contact him somehow.
-
yes I would return it..I might take the money (finders keepers) as payment for my "good" deed but at least they got their ID, cards and all of that back..I wouldn't expect anything more or less if it happened to me.
-
Yes. I found a wallet with a couple thousand dollars in it at the Atlanta airport once. I had been talking to the guy and when he boarded I guess his wallet fell out of his pocket. I gave it to Delta to get it back to him.
-
I returned on two different occassions spending my own money to travel and return the wallet to its rightful owner. Anything that doesn't belong to you is not yours. Never carry money earned through bad means it will spoil your coming generations.
-
If I asked a question that required one to invoke personal valor in spite of primal desires, would I expect to get honest answers? No.
-
No. But I would return the driver license, 2 credit cards and $300 in cash.
-
Yes, absolutely and most definately. I would return the wallet and all it's contents. I once left my purse in the ladies toilets in a shopping center and luckily an honest and very nice person handed it in to the mall office. Besides, what goes around comes around.
-
I would return everything in it too
-
Yeah, and i'd also return the license, credit cards and cash as well :)
-
Sure I would, no problem at all.
-
Yes I would..and would hope someone would do the same for me..
-
Of course i would return it, it would take a hell of alot more then that to tempt me, put 2 million in a brief case somewhere, i am not sure what i would do in that case.
-
Of course I would return the wallet and it's contents.
-
yes, because i would expect others to do the same for me.
-
id take the money in a heartbeat and return the wallet and cards unscathed
-
I would return it...I'm too honest to take anything, and really, it would be on my conscience for too long for it to even feel good.
