May you build a ladder to the stars And climb on every rung, May you stay forever young, Forever young, forever young, May you stay forever young. May you grow up to be righteous, May you grow up to be true, May you always know the truth And see the lights surrounding you. May you always be courageous, Stand upright and be strong, May you stay forever young, Forever young, forever young, May you stay forever young. May your hands always be busy, May your feet always be swift, May you have a strong foundation When the winds of changes shift. May your heart always be joyful, May your song always be sung, May you stay forever young, Forever young, forever young, May you stay forever young.
  • To have a personal relationship with Christ, and to walk in His love. To have good friendships. I would like for them to go to college, and make something of their self. I would like them care about themselves, and walk with confidence, and care about other people by giving of them self. I could'nt think of one greatest wish for them. I exspect to much.
  • I wish for my Children to Live a Long Happy Life and Get into Heaven.
  • That they become self-sufficient so that they won't have to depend on anyone but themselves. That goes especially for women before they get married. Stay single, Get a career, make some money, spend some money.
  • I wish my son happiness and peace, in whatever he chooses. I hope he laughs several times, every day of his life. I wish him to really understand his own gifts and his worth as a human being. I wish for him a strong work ethic. I wish for him all the tools necessary to handle the challenges of life. I wish for him the gift of gratitude, because gratitude is the key to abundance. I wish for him faithful friends who welcome him with open arms and love him without condition. With all that is said, what I wish for him most is the gift of human compassion toward all who cross his path.

  • My greatest wish for my daughter is to finish her education, never stop improving herself, be self sufficient and all the happiness her heart can hold. I love you Brittney!
  • I think i speak for most parents (even though i'm only a kid) that you would want your child to have a successful life when he grows up so when you're old you could look upon him and gloat, "Ha! I tought that kid, look who he is now!" (man, that was a mouthful!)
  • That however unique each of them are (and loved), that they honor the safety, happiness and rights of others. To always proceed in life with a honorable sense of empathy. That they not only respect 'the differences,' but celebrate them. To encourage all that they meet to reach their own highest potential. That 'Living A Life Worth Living' is a responsibility only they can fulfill. And that they do fill theirs with only conscious decisions which not only benefit themselves but contribute something meaningful to the world at large. That they attempt to contribute to a peaceful world, whether that is first 'forgiving' themselves for whatever misdeeds they may have done, and equally to know real peace begins with forgiveness gratefully given to others. To annually ask, "How much IS enough money?' To witness Nature at her best by being in it. To travel as a healthy 'habit,' whether on foot, car, train, boat or plane: it is one of the ways 'to understand' the commonality of the human condition. To always have a healthy sense of humor. That they are always able to laugh at themselves but never AT others. To understand that they are a WHOLE person. Each 'Self' within them most likely will have a moment in time where the 'Self' may need to be expressed honestly. To know it is up to them to truly understand not only the dynamics and consequences of their expression, but to know when, where, and who to express their feelings or thoughts. To be able to feel absolute joy at the successes of others. To know 'when to eat a hot-dog' and 'when to eat a steak.' To be charitable, always. To know 'when to say no!' To freely give random-acts-of-kindness to others, daily without the need for reciprocity. To know when to 'hurry up' and when to 'slow down.' To give reverence not only to a president, but to the ditch digger as well. To understand 'liberty' is earned. To hold dear their wives as equal to them. That cooperation is best when each is given it. And to accept that a decision not to marry is nobel when well considered. To hold dear their children. And to accept that a decision not have children is a blameless reason when well thought out, for whatever reason. To be 'the husband' or 'father' [wife/mother] that they wish they 'really' had. To understand that family and friends are sometimes mirrors of our accountable selves. To be a true friend, as they view it, when it is really called upon. To recognize that most everyone simply wants to be loved and wants to give love. To undeniably know to never 'cause harm.' To help those less fortunate ... and there are always someone who is less fortunate! To rarely use just 'feelings,' but use reason and logic when 'judging' another human being or circumstance. To know although time is passing, each moment is to be savored like the gift it is: even 'negative' experiences can lead to becoming a better person for them. To accept that it is nobody's 'job' to fix or repair anything that is 'wrong' with them. That it is through conscious, never-ending education, direction and concrete personal effort they will overcome any obstacle they or anyone else has laid before them. There are no 'mistakes,' only temporary set-backs. To cherish even the smallest of things or actions so that they have a perspective of value and worth. To contribute to the health of our planet and all its species for generations to come. To take 'action' when and where is appears to be appropriate. To always live their lives as if 'My Life IS As I Imagine It!'
  • To be able to find an area where they're happy to make a living and to make every experience of their lives as pleasurable as they can make it, to look at the bright side and turn ugliness upside down and wish very hardly that they don't encounter anything that is very bad.
  • listen to the somg my wish by rascal flats i think it describes perfectly every parent or future parent or person who loves any child for that matter, what they wish for that child(children) that their dreams stay big, they dont settle in life, they are safe and happy, that they are never overburdened, that they do learn life's lessons and joys on their own and that they are generally happy, safe and loved for all their lives :)
