-
I've heard it mostly pronounced "ECKonomic" and i live in Georgia.
-
Eck onomics. I do not think it really matters.
-
I think I say EEKonomic when using it as an adjective, but ECKonomics as a noun.
-
I pronounce it ECKonomic. I am assuming it is regional as I have only heard it the other way, either on TV or when traveling.
-
I pronounce it ECKonomic. Never heard anyone pronounce it EEkonomic.
-
I say "eckonomic", but I've heard it pronounced both ways here in Central IL.
-
ECKonomics in my neck of the woods. USA +5
-
Eckonomics.
-
I say Economic but I am sure it depends on your regional accent. I have worked with people over the Phones from all over the Country. All that matters is that we can communicate with each other.
-
eck.
-
Both are fine. Different regions have different way of pronouncing many words just in the US alone. Tour pronounced toor or tor. Mature pronounced matoor or machoor. Poor pronounced poor or por. Anti pronounced antee or an-tie. Your pronounced yor or yer. etc, etc, etc.

I'm an Eek person, but I suspect regional variations will apply, I cant imagine a Yorkshireman saying Eek.
-
Ekk! I eek at mice though! :)
-
I say eck, but I hear it both ways all the time so don't know if it's regional or personal choice. The word hubby and I have always disagreed on: coupon. I say cue-pon and he says coo-pon. Drives me nuts to hear it the other way but I've learned to keep my mouth shut and ignore it. lol!
-
I say EEKonomy, so I say EEKonomic. It doesn't really seem to be a regional thing, because people seem to say it in those two ways all over.
-
I pronounce it the second way. +5
-
