  • ...how rude and brave they are!
  • That they are all too often functionally illiterate couch potatoes who only know whats on TV, how to get by in the 'No child left behind (gets ahead) program' and play videos.
  • Mine are growing up too fast. They are now 12, 10 and 9. I love them just as they are but I sure do miss that toddler phase, it was so cool. Amazingly they don't believe everything I say is the gospel anymore. They actually have the nerve to disagree with me sometimes. :-)
  • Lack of RESPECT for elders
  • They're rude, irresponasble, spoiled, uneducated, undisaplined, amoral, and just plain out of control. I really fear for this country in about twenty years when they're in control. You really think they're going tobe willing to take of anyone, but themselves? No way.And for the this we have their parents to thank.
  • Their parents' lack of responsiblity. It's THEIR fault.
  • The young people of today think of nothing but themselves. They have no reverence for parents or old age. They are impatient of all restraint. They talk as if they alone knew everything and what passes for wisdom with us is foolishness with them. As for girls, they are forward, immodest and unwomanly in speech, behaviour and dress. Of course, they said that in 1274 as well...:-D...
  • They have more energy than I do.
  • Most of them dont know what its like to go without occasionally.
  • they're short! well, except for the tall ones
  • Ouch... what kind of kids do you all know? All the kids round here have to work really hard for everything (unless they get pregnant, it seems you can merely blink at a girl and they are popping out left right and centre). People are very quick to judge kids you know. They say they are lazy, irresponsible, don't know the meaning of work. yet here I find they do. I know too many kids who suffer. Maybe it is just where I am, but things are not handed to you on a plate here. Maybe if parents actually did some good parenting of their kids, it'd give the kids a better chance, take responsibility and work. However, I do believe a startling amount of kids have become materialistic. I mean things like IPods and MP3 players, everyone has them and is constantly upgrading them and throwing the old stuff out before it has barely been used. However, I should imagine every generation has pretty much the same gripe about the younger.
  • they know nothing in regards to respect to those whom have made a few more revolutions around this solar system, they lack social skills, and cant go more than a mile away from their little electronic ties to the rest of the world.I cant fathom my life revolving around a little device called a cell phone.
  • Disrespect for older people.
  • no respect for themselves or their communities
  • Guys -- pull up your #$*&^ing pants and wear a belt! Girls -- just because belly shirts are trendy does not mean that they flatter every body type! They are not designed to create extra room for your belly to flop over your waistline! AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!! (thank you, I needed to get that out of my system!)
  • They're terrible! Why can't they be like we were? Perfect in every way. What's the matter with kids today?
  • that their so rude
  • They all find the need to "fit in" and "be cool" so they get pressured to drink, smoke, do drugs, things that make them uncomfortable. Girls wear provocative clothes and try things they normally wouldn't. One thing that really gets on my nerves is how a lot of kids these days don't use their manners and respect adults.
  • Kids today? They don't know they're born!
  • Their parents!
  • How the world owes them something for being a**holes.
  • their self centered attitude
  • I have no gripes wit the kids...I have gripes with their parents!
  • The parents. Parents allow their children to do what they want and as a result children don't seem to have a grasp on manners and respect. My boyfriend's 17yr old has no concept of money. "I want, I want, I want" I don't blame kids, I blame their parents.
  • They are slobs
  • Kids these days spend more time on computers using chat speak and playing games then they do outside.. oh wait you mean "KIDS" these days... Well they just don't seem to be chewing on the same tin cans that uncle Billy did as a kid... they find ways out of the yard.. and the let their pellets loose all over the place! KIDS these days I tell ya!
  • I don't have a big gripe about kids these days..I have alot of gripes about alot of parents..especially the parents that forgot what it was to be the kid :) Life is harder for kids now days..and its the job of everyone..parent or not..to change that :)
  • how they text each other...when they are standing right next to each other!
  • Too materialistic!!
  • They drive better cars than I do!
  • They can't wait to have sex.
  • ok ok ok, hold a a minute. I am 16 so I still classify as a "kid" Not ALL kids have lack of respect for elders and not ALL kids are bad rude irresponisble ect ect ect. Yes a fair few are and believe me I wish they were better human beings than they are too but life is not perfect. and not all are like that, there are good kids, I would consider myself a good kid, i respect my elders and am not rude, i am polite. And to "NeverWas" no offense mate, but you can't say that EVERYONE in your generation were perfect, noone is perfect and I bet that there were alot of kids from back than who were just as bad as some are now. But yeah there are SOME kids who are complete a**holes but I dunno what makes them like that maybe its lack of proper parenting not sure.
  • not a thing in most cases its parents who allow the nonsense to go on
  • the way that people stereotype them just like old people get pi**ed off that they are stereotyped.
