Yes. I bought a 1984 F-250 4WD for $1500 thinking the motor needed major work, but the problem turned out to be minor. I only needed to replace the spark plugs and ignition wires and the truck ran great. I sold it for $5000. ;)

NO, BUT DODGE/CHRYSLER HAS BEEN OFFERING ME 18% OVER BLUEBOOK VALUE FOR MY 2002 DODGE DAKOTA SPORT. I DONT KNOW WHY, BUT ITS NOT FOR SALE.

No. In fact, the last two cars I got rid of I donated to one of those charities that takes cars. Not so much as I believe in the charities, but to more avoid the hastle of somebody trying to talk you down asking $300 for a car that runs. It's like some want perfection for nothing. Just tow it away, and do me a favor as well.

Unfortunately not. I did sell one car what I paid for it, though. I never expect to make a profit reselling my car.

Yes, I sold a 1963 VW Beetle for 3x what I paid for it, and a couple of hundred bucks more that I had in it if you included parts. I got a couple of years of good transportation out of that car, but I probably got about $1/hr for my labor.
