Depends, Some people are just over the limit while others are completely trashed and are a threat to everyone anywhere near a road. I think it should depend on the person, IF you just at the limit then you should be punished but not as much as someone who has had 12 beers and 4 shots of whatever. That person should be punished big time for that.

make them read newspaper article about drunk driving accidents,Make then visit drunk driver in prison, Make then visit people who got hurt by a drunk driver, and drunk drivers in nursing homes, make then visit family's whom lost love ones to drunk driving accidents,and grave yards to see all the graves because of drunks drivers victims and driver who drove drunk.And make them wear pink pants for everyone knows they had drove drunk and got caught For sixty days first offense, second offense one year in prison third offense loss of driving privilege for life and one year in prison

just pay a little money (if they dont hert or kill no one) other wise the max they can get in prison)

show them some horrible pictures aboutt drink deaths and put them on a course explaining the dangers. Also paying a fine and some license points taken away.

no excessive fines or loss of license as there is now, but instead, as there is not now, mandatory, not optional to the judges discretion, imprisonment for reasonable time lengths. That will seriously curb future offenders.

They need to be a passanger with a flaming drunk and 80mph. Just like a child or a friend was or, someone in an on-coming car.

Permanent loss of license. I think it should be Zero Tolerance.
