  • Use ice. Elevate it.
  • I'm sure you'd like for specifics other than ice/elevation. Icing and a dish towel. Approx 15 mins. Not too long to prevent frost bite. Elevation absolutely, try lying on the couch with 2-3 pillows under your foot/ankle even partially under lower leg too. Keep repeating ice 15mins/wait 5-10/again ice..repeat this for the 1-3 days. Depending on swelling you'll need to decide. In the event it doesn't get any better you'll need to see a doctor if you already haven't. If you can't walk on it right now. SEE A DOCTOR. You may also need to alternate between ice/heat. Like a heating pad 15-20 min. Break. Then Ice.......I hope this was aleast a little helpful. Sincerely, Good Luck! I've been there
