nope!

There is no way I would let some of these knuckleheads intimidate me.

HAHAHAHAH 44,838 species

I actually edit what I say a lot to be respectful.... Yeah, I'm that warped. I'm not intimidated, however.
-
Nah. I can deal with disrespect. It's overt ignorance that's the big bummer to avoid! ;-)
-
Hell, no. I've had plenty of people respect my answers, and enjoy my questions. One (or two) gnats, when there are plenty of bug-eating birds around don't bother me, except that they may be doing the same to newbies, who WOULD be. I would be willing to bet we've lost quite a number of people who would have been great members, here, because of it.
-
nah, I answer and ask stupid questions as freely as the knoble ones.
-
Its ashame you feel that way mate. What happened?
-
No, I did cut down on my participation because of system glitches and too much nonsense, but not because of the disrespect shown by a minority of low self-esteem users. I found another site that is more fun, so I don't come here much anymore.
-
No, have you seen some of my answers?
-
Nope, not at all. My hands type freely.
-
+5 Yes but that all ended today Today I recieved power Today I became Karen Ann Defender of Truth Justice and the American Way
-
Nope. I never let the knuckleheads win;)
-
Totally, I'm a fragile little daisy. Once this user tried to bully me by making broad generalizations and randomly talking about me in comments. I cried every hour on the hour since.
-
No even though when I logged in today I over 12 -2's on a row kinda pissed me off but oh well.
-
No, the longer you are on here, the more you realize that 99% ABers are decent and respectful individuals -- don't let the 1% bullies get to you.
-
No its too much fun to stop or feel intimated lol
-
Heck no! I'm smart. If someone can't handle my questions, I'm cool. If someone calls me a moron like someone did the other day for no reason, I will be very happpy to answer them.
-
Not at all. It's just words on a screen by people who don't know me. I have been called all manner of names and even physically threatened. Big deal. Anyone can be an internet tough guy. i sometimes ask questions where I know i am going to get insulted by both extremes of an issue. In fact, some issues my view is so bizarre to some folks, i know I will not have any allies. Example: Guns. Gun lovers (who can be more fanatical than even religious groups) love that i support the right to bear arms until they hear my reasoning. It does not go along with the typical gun loving rhetoric. The anti-gun faction loves the fact that I am realistic about the fact that guns do cause more harm than good, but get pissed at the fact that I still support the right to own them. yet, I will still comment because it's not like either side is going to reach through the screen and beat my ass. Perhaps it is my ability to laugh at anyone, including myself, when it comes to any issue. Most AB dialogue is pure opinion. In fact, the more you see the word "fact" used in a debate, the less likely it is to actually be based on facts. Not feeling intimidated comes down to truly being consistent in feeling "fuck you, who cares what you think, funny little man/woman" and being able to giggle your ass off at their expense.

I feel intimidated not by disrespect but by the stupidity of much of the audience. How do I have an intelligent conversation with these people? Some of them are ok but there are so many that make me cringe.
-
Me?
-
Naw. You can't 'swing a dead cat' around your head even once without hitting an ignorant, narcissistic, rude numb-nuts, huh? I suppose dealin' with 'em here might be 'good practice'? ;-)
