My family traditions are just these. Be willing to work hard to be support your family Raise your kids to be strong, honorable and self sufficient Do what is right by others Never be a quitter Bear your cross when it's yours to bear Take full responsibility for your actions Be real, transparent, honest and trustworthy Always be there for family when needed Never cause others to fall - If anything, catch them as they are falling Be a positive influence on society Live and let live

A lot of them I do. some were just way too wrong in my eyes but I saved room to install a few new ones which I feel makes things better.

Does divorce count?:) Seriously though, there is a Polish Christmas tradition that I still keep up on Christmas Eve. You break blessed wafer with those eating and wish them well. Also, no meat is served, it's fish only. My favorite time of the year.

I really can't recall some family traditions, so no.

I learned my grandma's language and her dialect, her songs, genealogy, all about her village, but like her I left the church behind. My life is about integrity, loyalty to family and being a good example to my kids. I could have been wealthy and not had some ogf life's simple pleasures. I see most men my age are alone, on drugs or have pickled livers. Even though I live this way nobody seems to think it's all that great an accomplishment. Since I don't believe in an afterlife I take pleasure in it now and believe me I do.
