I always ask unexpected guests in if I know them. Just my raising. Have a seat. Care for some coffee?
-
Kiss you very softly.
-
Yell at you for invading my private time... lol
-
Throw open the door and demand that you come in right this minute! Why are you still standing out there? Git yerself in here and have something nice to drink :)
-
I crawl to the door feigning death and inform you that I have toxic shock syndrome and it is very contagious, Go away, RUN! Then I return to my PS2 and beer and continue killing Krauts on Medal of Honor.
-
Well if you've come all THIS way, I'm certainly not going to send you packing. Give me 15 minutes to shower and change and the rest is up to you.
-
Pretend I'm not home, unless I made too much noise and blew my cover.
-
I have a sign on the gate outside my yard that says to call my phone number if you want to talk to anyone within. You will not get in without a previous request.
-
I spin a long, complicated story about how many things have gone wrong today that pretty much forces you to leave immediately

+5 I'd be upset but shoulder it thinking that greedy. After a few minutes talking I'd forget what I was upset about and we would have a great time.
-
Hi.... (crap!!). Can you just wait there a tick? (rushes in to clean toilet and bathroom super fast!); Hi! How are you?
-
On a day I wanted to be alone!! I'd most likely be in the garage tinkering with my cars, so if you are no good with a socket set I'd be polite but insist you put the kettle on & make a brew! you do make coffee?? :-/ I hope!
-
I'd tell you I was sorry, but I've got things I need to do today, maybe tomorrow?
-
My reaction would be total surprise! You would catch me not expecting company.
-
That happened to me yesterday, but I'm always welcoming even if I have a few things that needs to be done.
-
It depends who you are. If you are one of my closest friends, i would allow you into my messy house even if I was wearing clothes from yesterday, talk for a bit and send you on your way. Otherwise I would say, You know, This I can't really visit today, lets take a raincheck.
-
well, it depends...why are you there? i'd probably change clothes, and would only answer if you've tried to knock/ring the doorbell a few times. then i'd let you in and offer you some juice if you didn't give up yet.
-
welcome, do you want some tea
-
hmm, I guess it depends just how badly I wanted to be alone.............. but hey, if you had gone to the effort of droping by, you must have had reason to do so, so then yes, of course.......
-
it depends on our relationship..if we are very friendly i let you in, but if you are even mildly contentious i don't even go to the door.
