  • see for yourself! http://www.beliefnet.com/Entertainment/Quizzes/BeliefOMatic.aspx thanks for the request by the way
  • well might I suggest Christianity? It requries very little effort on your own part, just attend mass once a week on sunday and pray whenever you feel like it otherwise. theres no stopping in the street at 4 different times to pray. no going down on all 4's and there has been proof of appearances by Mary to prove our religion is real. why not!

Might I suggest you learn the difference between Christianity and Catholicism before you make yourself look foolish criticizing what you don't even know! OOps! Too late!
  • First tell me what you believe and then I'll give you my suggestion.
  • Well to be honest with you i think all religion is for the weak minded, You got to live for yourself not let others think for you. You'll will do better without is even the whole world will after all religion is know for wars. Also you don't need it to be nice to your fellow man. Take care

    • Creamcrackered
In this day and age Linda, mirrors are not needed, people are obsessed with selfies, instagram, facebook, twitter,

Wow! that is a low score for J.W's..Why? WE are the only ones of that long list that is obeying Matthew 28: 19,20...preaching [ teaching ] he kingdom. A scripture that is in ALL Bible translations...of course excluding the ' eastern' religions... The singular creating God must have a singular religion...so we do not become confused...which is just what many religions have done to us.
  • I urge you to make a serious study of them all (or as many as you can, anyway) before you settle on one. Also, some studies suggest that a good fit might depend on your IQ and how much you feel you need to conform to the beliefs of your community. I wouldn't take the video too seriously, but I wouldn't discount it completely either.
  • I won't recommend you any particular one, but just as a suggestion you could start your own, perhaps even less bizarre and confusing.
  • I would go with Christianity, but you are free to choose In whatever religion you want to believe In. Here are some other good religions to get some advice... http://www.religionfacts.com/christianity/denominations.htm
  • Are you afraid of supernatural forces and like to pretend that you are far more intelligent and wise than the rest of the human race? Try Christianity. If you find the theory of the existence of the "Magic Man" and how he magically "poofed" us into existence to be as close to logic as a man wearing shoes on his hands while juggling sixteen grapes with his balls while being set on fire, try atheism.
  • That is ONLY for YOU to decide
  • The one that give you comfort with who you are, the one that gives you what you need... thats all religion really is for, comfort and hope
    • pugwashjw65
And just where did Jesus say the preaching work will be " COMFY "
  • Don't depend on any religion. It could make you blind forever!
  • Subgenius
  • if u cant decide for urself then just go w no religion. not everyone needs one to live their lives
    • pugwashjw65
Yeah ! not in this system of things...but there is a better system coming...the Kingdom...jw.org
  • The one that you feel most comfortable with. The one that gives you direction in life when you need it. If none seem to fit what you need, then so long as you're happy and have support with any decisions you make, then you dont HAVE to have a religion as such.
    • pugwashjw65
But you DO have to be obedient...to Jesus' teachings,
  • I would say it depends on what kind of person you are or where your interests lie. What religion are your friends and family involved with? If you don't care then that is your decision and that's ok too!
  • No religion, unless you can answer that for yourself by doing some research. Try a unitarian faith for starters and mingle with like-minded souls and see what fits for you. I came upon my faith by becoming Wiccan. I am no longer just that. I love the way the Wiccan faith is set up with both ceremony and a focus on energy. The path I am now on honors all who understand that God is everything, Wicca included. I believe a sincere belief in who and what the Goddess is, gave me many answers. God is ONE and all forms.
  • If you are not sure which one to pick... you probably don't need a religoin; no one NEEDS a religion, however some people need spirituality. Enjoy the pursuit and keep an open mind.
  • I wouldn't say religion but the truth is the best! Every religion has its pluses and minuses so you have to use the best of the lot and weed out the worst and decide. No one can decide for you but to know and understand the truth is the best of all religions!
  • I may suggest you look into Religion first before you make a decision. With Christendom teaching gospels of prosperity and with religions of terrorism, as well as religions of idolatry: Religion has become a turn-off for many innocent people. As a Seventh-Day Adventist, we believe in freedom. Practically, you are free to be who you are. Faith is what saves and faith is what produces good works.

So, Jenny...just what ARE the ' works'? What do you do apart from Sunday church attendance...Jesus DID ask this of us...Matthew 28: 19,20. You would know it of course... Because Jesus' father asked us to listen to him [ Jesus ] (Mark 9:7) And a cloud formed, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud: ?This is my Son, the beloved. Listen to him.? It is interesting to note that of all the comments in this forum, no one seems to support their suppositions with scripture..???????????????

Hello pugs, quote: "What do you do apart from Sunday church attendance..." The Catholic church replaced the day of Saturday for Sunday mass worship. The Sabbath Day being God's resting day begins at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday. As for works, faith without works is dead. • What are YOU looking for FROM your religion?
  • Look within yourself.... The truth is there.... Beyond believing in this or believing in that.... A Direct experience of the Living God within you will answer all of your questions, all of your searching... No Religion is required...Only the truth which is in abundance in you..... Simply put, God exists within you as you.... When the mind is still, when the ego has disappeared, and no desires, or thoughts are running through your mind, The truth is known.....Learn to meditate...look within and still the mind and the light of truth will shine.
  • The best way to determine which religion is best, most correct, is to study the instruction book God gave us, the Bible. You need to study the Bible itself, not the church's teachings and traditions. Let the Bible interpret itself. If you get enough scriptures on any subject, you will see the message that God is really telling us. JW.org has an online Bible study course that can be done in the privacy of your home at a time convenient to you. Check it out and see if it doesn't actually teach what the Bible is telling us. JW.org. It is well worth the effort to look into it!

A word of commonsense in the wilderness...
  • whatever you want it to be
  • Religions are merely crude con games, so I advise you not to join nay of them
  • The best religion is the one which brings you peace and gets you not to slaughter your neighbor.
  • You need to ask yourself, "What do i want from a religion?" There are many religions out there, but only one true religion will bring you true peace and happiness. Many religions only cater for what a person wants to hear. So ask, "Is it teaching Bible truths?, Does it practice what it teaches?"
  • Humanism (that's a thing)
  • Firstly one needs to see there is a difference between religion and the Bible ,the Bible is important to decide this issue ,because through the scriptures one learns the truth about God and his son Christ Jesus ,in fact Jesus himself stated in John 17:3 3 This means everlasting life,+ their coming to know you, the only true God,+ and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
  • I would lean towards following the one in which our Creator decided He wanted to understand the human condition firsthand, became a man of humble means, taught people how to live an abundant life, died an awful death as a result, but rose again, (as will all of us) and wants nothing more for us than to become One with Him in everlasting Joy. In the meantime, we just have two (really three) commands to follow: Love God, Love yourself, and Love your "neighbor" as much as you learn to love yourself - easy right? :)
    • Cry me a River
Only I would say he died a glorious death. His death did not defeat him or us. It defeated death and sin and Hell.
    • Tim Porari
YEs I agree - it was glorious from THAT standpoint - but as a human - he sweated drops of tears over it and was literally terrified and rightly so. It had to be agonizing, but resulted in glory for sure. Thanks for your comment!
  • Any of them. They are all ME religions.
    • Cry me a River
If you want to be saved, that is a whole different thing.
  • You decide.
  • The one that accords with the Creator Who made you.
