For me it’s an ongoing process.

i don't know i've been useing computers for as long as i can remeber
-
as far as getting online not long. i still havent figured it all out though. LOL!
-
A couple of years tinkering around with it.
-
Being "self-taught", as I am, it will probably never happen. The basics probably took the first year, at least.
-
Roughly 6 years.

My grandfather built some of the first computers and my dad fixes computers so it's in my genes. It only took me about a couple months to master it.
-
The computer I have now, I'll say 2 hours to get adapted to it - I've been around computers my whole life so I'm comfortable and easily adaptable to new programs.
-
No. Clearly not. I thought I had, but then I somehow stuffed up the internet and now there is no way to connect from my laptop so I have to use my dads instead. I've been using computers all my life and I still don't know all the ins and outs. I'm alot better than my mum though. I think its the technical stuff that kicks my arse.
-
Not too long for what I have figured out, but am sure there is still much I need to learn about i & figure out yet.
-
I'm waiting for my kids to teach me!
-
I'm supposed to master it? I thought just slogging along would be good enough. That is why I have a computer geek for a son and even more of them work for me. I just yelp for help and one of the shows up.
-
Still trying to figure it out, and I'm on it a lot every day.
-
I'm still a rookie.
-
I've been hacking around with computers since the age of 8 and I'm still learning *cough* years on!
-
I had two months during the Summer of 1983 to 'master' a computer. I was in secondary school and we had just got new computers in at the start of that year. We were told we would be doing computer studies in September so I thought now was as good a time as any to get one myself.

5-12-2017 I was an engineer designing microcomputers at the time, so you better believe I learned the business real quick! (I designed the uplink equipment to put VH1 on the air.)

When I entered the fishing industry, I started as an apprentice baiter. It took a while to become a master bater. It takes a lot practice and hands on experience. So I'm gonna say.." a while".
-
I'm still learning.

My first computer was a laptop a friend sold me after he refurbished it. It took me about a week to figure it out.
