  • Yes. Socialist, actually.
  • I don't catagorize myself in politics. I'm more of a whatever seems right to me kind of guy. Could be left or right.
  • I am a social liberal and a fiscal conservative. I believe the consequences of your decisions should first be paid for by you but you have the right to exercise them.
  • Some people would label my views on certain subjects as "liberal". Some people (even some of the SAME people) would label my views on other subjects as "conservative".
  • Nope. Conservtative.
  • Yes, I am very liberal when it comes to the liquid soap. Other than that, I'm blue blood conservative baby! Conservatism has NOTHING to do with what the press and the pundits say it is. It is a philosophy of self reliance, self respect and self determinism. The news and media portray it as evil but the hyporcisy is rampant as 87% of all those in the media are staunch liberals (Michigan State collaborative study). It's easier to be a liberal, you just have to feel good about what you say and do, you don't have to be good at anything, you don't have to produce anything, you just have to feel good about yourself and the words you say. If America were to have been founded by liberals, it would have been entirely socialist by 1800. But since they didn't, it's going to take a few more years -)
  • Probably more like 1920-30's Midwestern American Socialist.
  • It really depends on the topic at hand.
  • Why yes...yes I am.... http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/latestnews/index.php?id=144 http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oe-maher24-2009apr24,0,927819.story http://www.smirkingchimp.com/thread/21289 . . .
  • Not in this incarnation. Perhaps the next, if I'm dropped on my head as a child.
  • No, I think it's a mistake to align myself with any fixed set of viewpoints. Being liberal or conservative is like being handed two menus when you walk into a restaurant, and feeling obliged to order everything available on only one of them, while burning and spitting on the other. I think one really has to do critical thinking about each distinct issue, bearing in mind that oversimplification and over-generalization tend to rule the roost in politics, and neither lead to clearing the mind.
  • Not remotely in today's world. I may have voted for Truman back in the day, but by his standard he would be quite the conservative today.
  • Compared to many of the people on the street, I am more Communist than any Russian ever was. If you look at things objectively (something many Americans cannot do), you will find that I am actually rather Conservative on most things except that I am *quite* Liberal on social issues. I consider myself a Moderate, but we live in a society where many people think that Colin Powell (die-hard Conservative Republican, and *far* to the Right of me) is a Liberal.
  • No, I am liberal on some issues but conservative on others, The fact that I dislike Obama however would classify me as a rght wing conservative whack job to uninformed people who don't know me and who like to hang labels on anyonne who dares disagree with their opinion.
  • No, I am not liberal. I am conservative.
  • No Im Johny, and I swing it Dangerously! I dont believe in catagorizing people like tic tacs.
  • I don't think it is a good idea to box up people like this. Some of my views are liberal in nature, and some are not. I generally have a liberal attitude toward social issues, I'm generally progressive.
  • Yes I am and quite proud of it too. It seems to me, that many Conservatives have chosen to trade away their heart and soul for their brains.
  • OK. I'll bite. I'm somewhere in the middle in a lot of ways. You see, I'm personally conservative for the most part but I've been working on myself. Politically I support the constitution and the rights people have based on it. Yes to same-sex marriage, yes to abortion, yes to guns, yes to freedom of religion, yes to freedom of speech. I detest those who wish to pick and chose among those rights.
  • I just took a quiz. I am in the middle but lean towards the left.
  • As long as things are going my way - yes, I'm a live-and-let-live kinda guy. ☺
  • Yes. I am not conservative.+3
  • No, I'm a 'conservative' like this 'Joe Six-Pack' guy in the cartoon below...;-D... . .
  • I am. I am very liberal when it concerns food..I overfeed people all the time, whether they're hungry or not. I am liberal in my giving hugs and kisses to everyone..I am liberal in my eclectic mix of friends..I am liberal in my inclusiveness. Happy Thursday to you! I am liberal in my gratitude for and appreciation of life and other people! :)
  • More so than many people believe is healthy.
  • Hell no. I'm a conservative and proud of it. :-)
  • How dare you!!!! ☺
  • I am unaffiliated with libertarian tendencies.
  • No, I am not a liberal.
  • Pro gay rights, pro conservation, anti globalist, pro capitalism, pro choice, pro gun ownership, anti fairness doctrine, anti creationism in schools, pro oil drilling in addition to alternative energy research, pro religious freedom (including freedom to not believe) without endorsing any particular religion.... I could go on for days, but you tell me?
  • No, it's to easy to say you are a liberal!!
  • Yes, why?
  • I used to believe I was, but at this point in my life I consider myself MODERATE. No, this does not mean I cannot make a decision, I simply find myself agreeing with aspects of both sides. I think it's safe to say that I'm a fiscal conservative, but socially I still tend to lean toward liberal.
  • I'm sure most people would classify me as one, yes. However I avoid calling myself one because then I have an obligation to ALWAYS act like one even if I didn't truly believe in it. Therefore, I will free myself from any sort of political self-declaration.
  • Especially when serving drinks! ;-)
  • I'm Socialist, nice to meet you.
  • i hold probably 75%-80% liberal views. the rest are conservative.
  • Broadly speaking, yes.
  • In many ways I am - and in some ways I'm more conservative than most folks.....when it comes to political ideology I'm frankly all over the map. But if asked I'd say I'm a "liberal", because frankly liberals have more fun - and the values ascribed to liberals are on average better for humanity then those touted by our conservative friends...who in many cases seem so set against individual freedom and free will. I would be best described as a progressive libertarian if you had to pin an ideology on me...but I can deal with being called a liberal if only two choices are offered.
  • Nope. Conservative +4
