Of course its real exercise..and hard work..some say you can't lose weight in water as it constantly cools the body..but believe me..its real exercise :D

Of course it is. The resistance of the water is MUCH more than air resistance, but your own buoyancy protects your lower extremities (feet and knees) from the pounding and injuries many experience when running. "Aerobics" means the purpose is to get the heart rate up. Now, if you swim (and not float), THAT can do it, but can't simply fighting the water resistance do it, too? Of course it can. Therefore, it's "real exercise".

Its a good form of exercise because you are moving around a lot.

Yes it sure is specially swimming look at proffesional swimmers!
