That is a humorous quote. It actually sounds more like something Mark Twain would say. And no, I don't think it's true.
-
No, I don't think so. I've met too many liberals that would fight to the death to convince others his view is the right one.
-
Sometimes that is the plight of the liberal, too many fronts and issues. But in a quarrel, I still believe most know what side he's on and what matters.
-
Maybe.
-
No. I know and have met lots of liberals who would literally fight to the death for their viewpoint. They sometimes may modify it some, but they never take the "other" side.
-
Nope, one quote doesn't have the answer in my opinion.
-
That is a fantastic quote! I don't agree with it...I am a liberal and I could defend my point 'till the cows come home!
-
Possibly
-
Unfortunately, all too often. Which is why the Democrats come across as wimps.

Robert Frost a faithful conservative obviously never agreed nor liked liberals, I don’t agree with his quote as he has no clue on what liberalism is. . I am a liberal, a free, broadminded and stubborn liberal and will do what it takes to defend my points of view when necessary. I am also broadminded enough as to understand there are times when it is better to rest my case and drop the debate, why burn my cartridges in those who are close-minded and only wish to pick a fight to prove their point? I will continue to be a free liberal spirit.
-
right...too liberal to stand for anything...has no drawn, common sense , lines....
-
Uhhh, no. That's just a blunt generalization. I wouldn't call being one-sided broadminded either. Neither Conservatives or Liberals or~ honestly~ anyone would fit into this criteria. Robert Frost was a poet, not a politician.
