  • For me with great difficulty as I have never heard of him.
  • He was wonderful with Mel Brooks and Burt Reynolds. I think I liked him best on the Muppet show when he hosted it. We didn't often watch the Muppets but did just to see him.
  • He was such a sweet man. That's how I will remember him.
  • Cannonball Run and all the movies he did with Mel Brooks is what comes to mind with me. I loved his acting...and what a funny man.
  • I remember he was on the ziploc commercials for a while. Next to the little finger smiley face, he's the only person I remember doing it. I liked his movies too, he was very funny
  • Very sad. he was hilarious in his movies and dean martin roasts. growing up i watched cannonball run countless of times and he was a big reason for that. but when i hear his name i think of robin hood men in tights. when he plays the "don". i know its not his most famous work, but its one of my personal favorite.
  • He was funny, I got him confused with James Coco, and he was in Burt Reynolds "rat pack". Too bad.
  • I'll always remember him as a very funny man who always made me LOL.
  • i always thought he was so funny. didn't know he passed away. that new orleans chef paul prudhomme bears a striking resemblance to him- maybe i'll have some cajun food in his honor. here's a side by side look http://totallylookslike.com/2008/08/13/dom-deluise-totally-looks-like-paul-prudhomme/
  • He was hugely funny, in my opinion...and his humor did not follow the filthy mouth route so many did. I had booked my family and myself to see his nightclub perforance at the Atlantic City Taj for a Saturday night. We arrived and could not get into the packed house...because my nitwit agent had erroneously booked us for the night PRIOR. GRRRRRRRRR! We were all disappointed...and the agent got an earfull from me! He admitted his error and all amounts were refunded. One of the funniest stories Dom told was how his whole life, as an Italian, he had suffered heartburn from spicy Italian food...even as a kid. He thought that was normal. Then, somebody gave him a Rolaid, and the heartburn was gone. He said that scared the hell out of him...he thought he was gonna die...he thought his pilot light had gone out! :-) Well, I thought it was funny...but ya probably had t'be there!!! :-) We've lost a great entertainer...a great man. +5
  • I will always remember him, from the bloopers at the end of the "Smokey and The Bandit" and "Cannon Ball Run" films. He was always laughing hysterically.
  • Ah man! I didnt know that, he was one of the greats, worked with a lot of people, he was in that one movie with Gene Wilder and Gilda Radner, he played Genes mother, it was good stuff.
  • For eating
  • I didn't know he passed away. I'll remember him as being pretty funny.
  • 'The Cannoball Run' and 'Spaceballs'.
  • That movie he was in with Burt Reynolds called The End was great.
  • did not know he was dead,,how old was he ?what did he die from ? i liked most of his films .my fav gum ball rally,so sad when comics die ,,,he was a funny man,,,think it was the canon ball run not the gum ball run ???
  • We actually saw him at a demonsration of cookware a few years ago. He had difficulty walking out to the stage area, and once he sat down there he sat. He added humor to the gathering..it was a big sales pitch for this specific (expensive) cookware. He was very large, which I expect contributed to his demise. I remembered him from movies with his friend Burt Reynolds years before and I felt very sorry that he had been reduced to being a pitchman (not the primary, just the backup) for cookware. Bye Dom...thanks for the memories! :)
  • Fondly. He always makes me laugh.
  • The Secret of NIMH.
  • There was a movie where he's in a mental ward with Burt Reynolds and Burt makes him promis to kill him because he has a terminal illness, Then he changes his mind. Dom keeps coming at him. He was crazy funny. Can't reacll the name. Also the Who mention him on a song "Going Mobile"
