Most of the time, sometimes I can't let go of the wheel saftley 'cuz of turning or one hand is holding something.
-
I always do that. +3
-
I always do that!
-
No, I don't drive yet. Sounds like fun, I'll do it when the time comes.
-
Always!
-
Always.
-
I usual do. I will especially wave if they are the good Samaritan in a sea of angry drivers. A friend in need is a friend indeed.
-
Yes I do,living out here in the boonies we wave as we pass each other on the road too.
-
Yes, i do..:)
-
You mean the "New York-thanks," the one fingered wave?
-
I always wave, and when I let somebody in, they always wave. I don't think anyone has just ignored me. People are basically nice really.
-
Always, even if they let me in front of them in their lane just because nowdays and most of the time they see your turn signal they accelerate, pass you and pretend they never even saw it which I think is pretty funny :)
-
Yes, I do!
-
Yes I do, I appreiate their kindness and do acknowledge it. I also say "thank you" whenever someones opens a door for me, etc. I consider it common courtesy.
-
Absolutely, I always reward courtesy, it is so rare in this day and age.
-
Yup, unless it's imperative I keep both hands on the wheel due to traffic conditions.
-
Usually this is a matter of being allowed to merge into another lane or on occasion to cross or turn at an intersection... but ABSOLUTELY YES! and I add a smile if I can, if they can see it...it's appreciated very much after all!
-
Yes I have and I do ... I think it the only thing to do when someone is courteous enough to let you in ....
-
If they've waved me in, it was their turn, or they obviously stopped (and stopped traffic) to let me through, yes. If it's just that we pulled up to an intersection at the same time, ONLY if I believe it was "their turn" and they waved me on.
-
Yes, I do.
-
Always. you have to understand i live in Oklahoma. thats the way we are. whenever your driving in a residential neighborhood more than likely youll get waved at by at least one passing driver, or someone out in their front lawn. it has been said that 2 people will sit at a 4 way stop for 30 minutes trying to be nice to the other one and let them go first lol.
-
Definitely. Not just because it is common courtesy, but if they smile or wave back it can actually feel uplifting.
-
Yes I do, because I appreciate them letting me in when they could have not done so.
-
No, we usually do two short honks/beeps, most people in Jamaica tint their windows so it would be hard to see a wave
-
I make it a point to say thank you! One nice gesture can really make my day. I also pay it forward :)
