Do they fear that same-sex marriage will break up right wing marriages everywhere? I mean, gay people getting married will ruin right wingers marriages, right? Liberal marriages don’t seem to be as vulnerable.

Right! Like we have anything to do with the high divorce rate, infidelity, broken homes, domestic abuse...people going through marriages like some go through Kleenex. Yeah, gays getting married will damage marriage more than straight people already have!

They fear that it will erode the their ideal of kids growing up with their biological parents. Also feared is the loss of of one man / one woman being the default definition of marriage. Homosexual and polygamous unions should be legalized everywhere.
