There is a very pretty and peaceful lake near where I live. It is a nice, cool place to go read on a hot day. If I get tired of reading I watch the ducks, geese and osprey.

I've never been good at combining the two things deb..never. Books I'd take to the beach remained untouched. Take a book in the backyard, sit down to read and I'm aware of the breeze, the windchimes, the chirping birds, the beautiful blue sky. The only way I can enjoy reading and concentrate without distraction is in the house in my favorite chair, no radio, no TV no nothing. Otherwise, everything floods in and I'm a lost soul! :) ((hugs))

Out on the back porch or in a lawn chair under a tree. Ok if the Sun is not too bright.
-
On my back deck.
-
I would go out to my back porch and sit down on my comfortable padded chair. I also like to take a book with me on my hunting trips.
