  • yea, for like, two weeks
  • Did HE start the fight ? If he did not start the fight ; then I'd be fighting the suspension with the school board. NOW: IF he started the fight ; YES; NO cell Phone, No TV in his room,NO Video games, and NO Visitors after school for 30 days ... If he did not start this fight ; then he needs to be supported and make the school let him back in ...
  • Yea and you should ground him (if he started the fight). If he did't start the fight then, you should talk to the principal.
  • Cell phone, home phone, electronics in his room (TV, video games, computer - leave the stereo, but give him a maximum volume). For at least a week, if not more.
  • depends what the fight was about. if he was defending himself then no, he deserves to stand up for himself. if he was picking on someone then yes punishment is needed.
  • Absolutely! Restriction and extra duty a minimum of two weeks. No fighting means NO fighting!
  • Wow! you have a son, a husband who is in class (whatever that means) and a boyfriend. You sure are busy.
  • If he started the fight, then punish him by grounding him or making him do extra chores. Tell him that if he wants to go to work with his hands, he can do it around the house and yard.
  • NO abulyly not! u should just ground him. taking away his cell will give him no social activity. then he will h8 u for ever.
  • HELL NO! Thats like murdering a cat, its just WRONG. HE will hate you forever, because you are killing his social activity. By killing his social activity, you are killing his friends. (morally, of course.) STOP KILLING CATS AND GO YELL AT THE PRINCIPLE.
  • Yes you should. I`d take it away for 3 weeks.
  • Sounds like a good idea to me, as long as it's just for a limited time--like a week or two.
  • Kids shouldn't have cell phones til they can pay the bill themselves.
  • Definately not!!! This is just going to provoke a further out break from this kid as he vents his anger. A much better idea is not to give him money for credit, sweets etc... If you take away his phone this will cause enormous tension in the house and the kid will want to take this out somehow--fighting again maybe?? I suggest don't take this phone off him unless you want a son that actually despises your guts. No exaggeration.
  • THAT DEPENDS,IF HE WAS DEFENDING HIMSELF, THEN GOOD FOR HIM, IF HE WAS BEING A BULLY, THE HE'LL EVENTUALLY GET HIS BUTT KICKED, SO YES, IN THAT CASE
  • only if he started the fight - these zero tolerance policies will expell everyone involved, if he was defending himself then no let him keep his cell phone and talk with him about different conflict avoidance techniques
