Competitive and hobby. Count your blessings. Do you really want to be upstaged by an asian guy who knows origami? He might be better with string than with paper.
-
hobby in my opinion. :) I think yo yo's are fun and some people are so good with them.
-
Hobby, even though I seen it on ESPN once.

If darts can be an Olympic sport... http://www.smh.com.au/news/Sport/Darts-in-the-Olympics-believe-it-or-not/2006/10/03/1159641303503.html ...why not yo-yoing?...:-D...
-
Yo-yoing is best suited for being a competative sport. Actually, Yo-yoing IS a competative sport. The 2009 World YO-YO Contest will be held on August 13-15 in Orlando,Florida,USA _____________________(O)___________________ WALKIN' THE DOG

Competitive - I think
-
competitive would be intense, and hey, I'd watch it.
-
Just a hobby. Do kids still make their own yo yos? We used to as kids :)
-
Hobby, extreme and competitive sport if the yoyoing environment is corresponding to the adverbs (competitive and extreme). I stand more politically on the Olympic aspect of it for not only reflecting imagery of circular objects in competition during ancient Greece but paradoxically the Olympic comittee trying ridicule the competition.
-
Hobby..its a toy..lol
-
There's nothing "extreme" about the yo-yo at all. It wouldn't surprise me if the Olympics picked up, then again they pick up other shady sports like; rhythmic gymnastics, sychronized diving, and team handball. The Olympics are full of sell-outs, scam artists, and cheaters. I hate the Olympics just about as much as I hate Ellen DeGeneres. So my answer therefore is hobby.
-
You cannot say its impossible to percieve yoyoing as extreme it could be in a myriad of ways
-
I work with a bunch of non-competitive Yo-yos, at least this would give them something to strive for;)
