It is so the clothes can breathe. Any leftover moisture or dampness can escape. Whether clothes are dirty from being worn or fresh from the dryer, they might have moisture in them. If they were placed in a solid sided container, they might quickly mold, especially if they are warm. So any clothes baskets have air holes or spaces to keep them fresher and cleaner

I've been here... but I'm having trouble with my system. It is taking forever for a page to load - sometimes it never does. I've been running with no Anti-Virus software, and I think my computer has picked up a chest infection. That's what I get, hey?
