Intellect first and looks second. So yes intelligence is very attractive.
-
YES, YES, and YES, but be advised, an ounce of loyalty is worth a pound of cleverness
-
I would like to be able to carry a good intellectual conversation with the s/o so I think that is attractive :)
-
Intelligence as far as having interests and being able to discuss and share them is very important. I needed someone that interests me, stimulates me to think and he does that:-)
-
For me? Yes For her? I hope not.
-
That is certainly part of it.
-
Yes, absolutely. I want to be able to have an intelligent conversation with my s/o.
-
It is on my checklist:):) It is important..as long as he has the same intellect of a tater tot:):)LOL:):) How are you sweetie:):)
-
Yes, quite a bit.
-
It would be from here on.
-
Very! I need someone I can converse WITH not talk down to. I expect that both of us will have more knowledge on some topics than the other, but that is also what makes it fun. I could not date a guy that I thought wasn't at least as smart as me, as egotistical as that sounds.
-
More important than looks.
-
Crucial. Nothing more attractive than a sharp, quick, curious mind. Pair that with a sense of humor and I'm all over him like hot fudge on a sundae;)
-
it's probably most critical...a pretty face is nice for about a week and then you start discovering there's nothing between their ears and things get pretty boring and annoying pretty fast. I like someone I can debate, and discuss things with..someone that can talk about more than celebutard fodder. It's amazing how ugly stupidity can make the most beautiful of people.
-
Book smarts intelligence means little to me. As long as she is motivated, has similar interests (or the ability to try new things), and can have an alliterate conversation, then I am good.
-
Absolutely.
-
Yes, Its a major turn on for me.
-
Yes. Essential.
-
It is a sine qua non.
-
yes essential
-
Honestly, not really. I prefer qualities from which I benefit more directly. It's more important to me that a man knows how to clean up after himself, enjoys cooking a nice meal for us, and positively adores sex. Besides, I'd rather be the smart one. No need for any unnecessary competition.
-
Defenately a big part:)
-
Yes very important indeed.
-
I'd say it is somewhat. But a kind personality & warm Heart for others, would be more what I would look for..........Just my point of view tho...........M.C.S..........+5 for your question. Have a Great Day!!!!
-
Honestly, I think I'm more attracted to dumber people that are still above average. So I can talk to them intelligently, but I'm still the smart one. If someone is smarter than me, nothing will irritate me more.
-
Absolutely. I chose my bf in high school because he was the school genius. I had already decided I didn't care for the jocks or the cave men who strutted around the halls abusing the weaker kids. I wanted someone I'd be proud to have brilliant sons and daughter with. It didn't work out that way, but intelligence was definitely a factor in my choice.
-
Extremely :D
-
Here's what I find attractive Intelligence/kindness/honesty/humor I am unwilling to give up any one of those..they are all rolled into one thing as far as I'm concerned. Happy Saturday! :)
-
Yes. However, there is a fine line between being intelligent and being cocky (thinking you're intelligent). Cockiness is a HUGE turn off!
-
to me it is, which makes it strange why I ended up with the one I have!!
-
It's a must have for me.
-

I used to think this was really important, but the person I'm with right now is not super smart. It's refreshing. I think that people who are very smart tend not to let their heart guide them and use there head for eveything. I am more loved in my current relationship and there is more passion b/c they let their heart guide them instead of trying to rationalize everything. IMO it's better this way.
-
I think intelligence plus (+) smartness is VERY attractive !
-
Absolutely, it's a must!
