Cheer! As your points go up; your level goes up. As your level goes up; your title goes up. As your title goes up; the amount of points you can give/take away from someone goes up as well.
-
Laugh at them. They mean nothing. Look more at the correct percentage on answers given. The points are little more than a video game for most users.
-
They fill the point bag in the "my points" section of your profile. When the bag is full, you start a new level (with an empty bag). Levels are an easy way for other Answerbaggers to check your experience of Answerbag. With higher levels, you get higher titles and nicer badges, and you can give more points to other users' submissions. After you reach the sage title, the amount of points that you can give or take from other user's submissions is not growing any more. When you reach a higher amount of points, you come in the top 1000 of the "all time most points" leaderboard. At the moment, at least 7031 points are needed for this.

Use them for a free flight on AnswerBag AirLines. I myself am saving for a round trip from The Padded Room, to maybe SillyVille. I hear it's beautiful there in the summertime.
-
They don't do anything but pile up. But for each individual question or answer, they give value and worth. Points aren't for people, points are for answers and questions.
-
To find out if your answer was actually helpful to someone! I spose kind of like receiving a 'grade' in school to know if you're doing well or flunking!
-
Points? What points? Oh, those points. Traded them in months ago for half a dozen toaster ovens.
-
