brown but not black- i hate the black ones. its easy to burn the damn things- u have to use skill- extreme skill- to get them just right- people who say burnt r insane and should be placed in some kind of nut house for crazy people.

Light a tad brown, just where it's a little toasty and brown on the outside yet chewy and soft in the middle.

Toasted an even light brown.

Light brown, being a nice golden-brown, caramelizing the outside far enough away from the flames to get toasted, but not burnt.
