My parents will be married 52 years on February 16th. My Great Aunt and Uncle celebrated their 70th in 2008...they are 89 & 90 years old.

My deaf , blind, inable, wrinkely, neighbors have been married for 70 years. They give me tangerines.

I've known people married longer but that's certainly getting up there. They either deserve congratulations or they're really hard headed.

My ex wife's parents were married for 53. My mother in law croaked and he went about a year later. My ex g/f parents are still alive and kicking after 52 years of marriage.

My parents were married for 63 years when my dad died. Mom followed him 8 years later.

My grandparents almost made 58 before my grandpa died. My grandmother died 5 years later

My parents have been married, to each other, since April 1, 1944, that will be 65 years this year. Dad 88, Mom 84.

Beating that, I couldn't. That I affirm. I'm still going 8 with my wife this 2009. But the value, I believe, lies in the quality of the marriage I have with my wife. For me, it's not about adding years to our union, it's about building continuous quality moments that makes it timeless.

when i was in 2nd year HS it was my grandparents' 50th anniv... it's been 5 years since. so 55. sorry, too lazy to do the math in my head. :))

Last year, before my grandfather died, my grandparent had their 60th.
