Imaculately? about a 4 livable...probably a 9 with 2 kids and 4 pets..I have to be a little flexible
-
Maybe not "imaculately clean" but I prefer my house to be neat and sanitary of course. So I guess about a 6 or 7. I clean the bathrooms/toilets once a week, sheets once a week, dusting often, kitchen needs to be wiped down each time you cook, etc. I try to keep clutter to a minimum which helps. Makes me feel better when its clean lol.
-
About a 2 for it to be immaculate. Right now, it's far from that. My house is usually "lived in", not immaculate.
-
On a day to day basis - around 7. If guests are expected, then it would be 9 or 10.
-
3 I will never be immaculate... I have four cats plus one now.
-
9. my house is very clean. it gives me peace of mind to have an oasis to retreat to. i think my clean freak streak developed from growing up as a military brat in a white glove treatment household. it was almost like living in a museum. im not as ocd as my parents, i can live with a little uncleanliness here and there, but not much.
-
I used to be very manic about it... to a fault. So I stopped and tried to wean myself off the bleach fix. * I was up to a bottle a week! Now it is lived in, and although it does get to me, I find myself leaving things a little unkept on purpose because if I don't... I will obsess and I hate that. Like Monica leaving the shoes out on Friends.
-
Lordy I hope my mother doesn't read this. I rate importance about 6!
-
10, I like my shit clean.
-
Probably a 9, I like it to be pretty clean!
-
About a 7. Its not that important for my home to be "immaculoately" clean... though it need to be kept clean on a regualr basis. Im happy with a thourough cleaning about once a week.

My expectations: 6 My Wife's expectations 9
-
immaculate? that's impossible in this house. our house serves as office, showroom and mini storage space rolled into one. it's not immaculate but it's pretty clean. not a lot of dust and most definitely not stinky. i'd say about an 8:)
-
My house is NEVER immaculately clean
-
I get nervous if it isnt, its a very bad trait. I wish i could have a dirty house!
-
um 3000.my wife and i love a clean house but when we had chilren and moved into our well um...not to bragg...our mansion w got a butler. we still clean it though because we give our butler good vacation time so yea i love a clean house.
-
Depends on my stress level (both as creating the mess, and cleaning it up.)
-
Having seen some houses where Child Protective Services had to move in and drag children out of utter filth, human and animal excrement everywhere, trash piled deep on the floors, roaches... No need to go on. I think some of those who answered in the low numbers are not aware of what dirty really is. With our small space, a home business plus all my son's Army gear stowed away, our house is certainly busy and lived in, but it is quite clean. And we're constantly coming up with ways to shed things we no longer need and find clever storage solutions to better organize what we must keep. So maybe that's a 7 or 8. Depends on what 1 and 10 means to you.
-
12 (million). I hate being in a dirty, cluttered place. My home is my sanctuary away from the rest of the world and sanctuaries should be tranquil, peaceful and relaxing. There's no harmony for me in a messy home.

Clean - 10 Immaculately clean - 7.5

-
10..I am a clean freak. I clean the house top to bottom everyday..and there isnt anyone here to even mess it up..LOL :)
-
A "Seven" - Clean enough to be healthy, dirty enough to be comfortable.
-
About a 3. We keep a "clean" house - not immaculately clean. More important things to do, like playing games with the kids, writing, reading, (being an AB), than having a super clean house. We don't have roaches or mice hanging around, but I also don't feel the need to yell at my kids or my husband to pick up their socks after them. We all have a part to do here - some days it gets done...some days it don't. Above all else, though, we have a peaceful home. I grew up with a hyper-clean mom...and she drove me up the wall. I promised myself I'd never be that way with my kids, and so far, I've never been.
-
Such a high standard as 'immaculate' wouldn't even rate. My house is clean, but it's also lived in by a busy family. I've learned what's truly important in life. When tragedy strikes, no one wishes they'd spent more time housecleaning. Life is about people.
-
Important? Maybe a 6. No, if immaculate is the criterion, it's no better than 3. For me, immaculate would be the result of scrubbing every square inch of walls, floors, ceilings, shelves, drapes, window sills, etc, with a toothbrush and bleach. I'll never achieve that. * * P.S. How about your house, love?
-
For my house it would be a 10, for me, something between 1 and 3.
-
at least a 9!
-
3
-
At this time in my life it as become less important....I would say maybe a 5-6
-
i'd give it a 7, but the bathroom is always a 10.
-
compared to most people I know I'd say 8
