Hey, there are bodies that don't have to be naked to be offensive
-
It's only offensive when it's shown at the wrong time and place, but there's nothing "offensive" about the naked body. It's just people's natural beauty at it's best and what makes everyone beautiful and unique in their own special way.
-
Who said the naked body was offensive?
-
i dont think its offensive. I think your thinking it is because the government demanded us to wear clothing. (means of purchasing) so you think its wrong to be naked when its not.
-
I don't find the human body offensive!
-
Some bodies more than others, some more offended than others. Can't really give you the percentages of either.
-
It is not offensive.
-
it's not. The reason why many people think the naked body is offensive is because they have a prudish idea that nudity = sex. Now why people would think sex is offensive is another question all together. Maybe it's because we like to pretend that we don't derive animal pleasure from our bodies, that, somehow, we're too "above" that.
-
You could have told me earlier!!!! Be right back, gonna put some clothes on! :)
-
To me its only offensive if it stinks.
-
Because of sensitive people and people that believe the whole world should revolve around little kids.
-
I think it's because a lot of us don't want to be compared to other naked bodies.
-
Maybe it is because 90% of humans look like shit naked. Versus 99.9% of animals, who look beautiful.
-
Stephen Fry, in the movie What About Me, talks about how it is Ok to refer to violence, killing, rape, hate on TV, yet it is not ok to talk about human reproduction, or the bits involved in reproduction... What is it about humans that makes them so vulnerable about procreation, sex, nudity? Yet they can toss about negativity like candy....
-
God made us in his image, the display of a pure naked body is not offensive. Pornographic nudity is offensive. Modesty and what is culturally acceptable may make it seem offensive to some people.
-
it's not...
-
It's not offensive. Hollywood has made us guilty if we don't look like the pictures say we should. Rail-thin anorexic models don't help much, either.
-
The naked body is a beautiful thing... Well mine isin't... But a normal BMI ratio and a toned figure, makes for relative art in motion... The human body is one of the most beautiful things in the world.
-
It isn't. It is natural.
-
Its not, but I think it shouldn't be forced on others if they find it offensive or prefer modesty. Its about time and place.
-
The naked body is natural and I don’t see it as offensive because first of all we are born naked. Also, when you look at yourself naked in private there should be no difference in seeing someone else naked because it’s the human body. Anyone offended by seeing someone else naked are not open minded and that they don’t know how to explore their human side.
-
To who?
-
Many naked bodies are not offensive. Some are pretty bad. We are taught to be embarrassed by our nakedness as children.
-
It's not, but for a variety of reasons, most people would prefer not to see everyone else walking down the street naked. One problem is that nudity is sexually arousing. That would be a massive distraction for many of us.
