Yes. "Havana" with Robert Redford. So bad. We tolerated so many corny lines but finally, about half-way through, Redford delivered this gem: "What's a girl like you doing in the middle of a revolution like this?" We stood up and walked out in unison without even so much as exchanging glances.
-
Only one. Brazil. I know a lot of people like it, but I was young and it just seemed...too much.

only once in my life-Battlefield Earth with John Travolta, I don't know what I was thinking to begin with- I must have eaten some some bad Cheerios that morning
-
Yes, I left around 2/3's of "Sophie's Choice". It is supposed to be a great movie, but I was just plain bored. Also after a few minutes of the "Muppets Movie". The reason was that, without my knowledge, it was translated to Spanish. It sounded silly and lost all the fun and magic in the translation. I also removed the "DaVinci Code" DVD and took it back. Again, it is supposed to be a good movie, but I didn't like it, just bored and dizzy after a while.
-
Yes, I went to Dream Land and woke up with a flashlight in my face! LOL
-
Yes more than once.
-
I am proud to say that I never have. I'm quite the cinema connesuire, and I never give up on a movie until the credits roll.
-
Never in the cinema. The closest I ever came was Dogma, sub-puerile humour, and badly-shot and scripted.
-
Just once. I had just turned 18 and went with a friend to see our first XXX movie. We definitely picked the wrong one as it had all kinds of truly disgusting stuff not worth mentioning here. Fell asleep at "George of the Jungle" does that count too?
-
Yes, "The Philadelphia Experiment." I was at the movies with my younger brother, I saw "Revenge of the Nerds"(great) and he went to see the other one. Mine finished earlier than his so I went into his to sit with him until it finished. It was so dull I left and waited for him outside.
-

-
No. I never, under any circumstance half-ass a movie like that. I even gave Chasing Amy a chance.
-

Yes. Gladiator. Not that it was a bad movie, but I'd just started dating an ex of mine and we had 'other' plans in mind. ;-)
-
I almost walked out of Gigli. But, I'm cheap and though I've already paid, I'll just suffer through it.
-
No. I rarely go to the movies. I can't see paying all that money to sit in a seat that's full of nasty germs and makes your butt hurt. I have sent plenty of movies back to Netflix without watching the entire movie, though.

Yes, I recently went to see Oceans 13. After about 45 minutes, I realized how boring it was and that I really didn't care a bit about anything or anyone in the movie. I went to exchange my tickets for Licensed to Wed.

Yes. It was a Woody Allen movie called Small Time Crooks or something like that. It was back at the $1 theater. I really don't like Woody Allen movies.

Guilty By Association Absolutely dreadful, terrible, horrible movie. I figured if it had Morgan Freeman it would be fine, but he's got less than 10 minutes according to reviews, and didn't show up before I turned it off.
-
Matrix Reloaded. I would have walked out but my friends were all staying so I did. I went to sleep for about 20 minutes I think. SO bloody boring... I have never attempted it again. I tried renting the third one and didn't finish that. Although it wasn't as bad as part two it was fairly dire...
-
Flight of the Navigator. Rented it the other night; it was an oldie with quite a few recommendations. Initially it was engaging, but once the robot turned into what was supposed to be a fun guy, our interest plummeted. Puke City.
-

I stayed through "The village" , only because it was a first date. She kept having to "nudge" me to wake me up. I would have left otherwise. The book may have been good, I don't know. I would rather use the money to wipe my ass than to sit through something that again.
-
The Master of Disguise ("Turtle! Turtle!") AKA Dana Carvey's attempt to be like his one time SNL and Wayne's World buddy Mike Myers by portraying a variety of characters in the same film. Not only was is horrendous, but I was surrounded by easily amused friends who found it HILLARIOUS. I didn't leave, but I found a differnet spot and just checked out mentally.

I've walked out on only two films: "The Falls" by British art movie director Peter Greenaway and "Boxing Helena" directed by David Lynch's daughter Jennifer. "The Falls" is now one of my favourite films - after walking out I couldn't stop thinking about it and had to go back again to see it the next night. "Boxing Helena" was dreadful, though, and probably the worst film ever made.
-
Independance Day the first time I saw it. The theater had the volume so loud and would not turn it down. I was not the only person to walk out. People in the next movie over were walking out also. We were able to get our money back finally.
-
Nightmare on Elm St! Too much blood.
-
Star Wars. I know there is this cult thing but it just doesn't do it for me.
-
Blair Witch Project. The camera was making me nauseous.
-
beowulf 3d was the last one. the visuals just didnt do it for me, very disappointing. the one before that was star wars pt. 1, phantom menace. i loved the original trilogy (pt. iv-vi), but i thought the cgi was just incredibly cheesy. for example, the quality between the animatronic jabba the hut in return of the jedi and the two-dimensional jabba in phantom menace was light years apart. after waiting all those years for the prequels, i was so disappointed i had to leave the theater.
-
I woke myself up snoring during Hitch-hikers guide to the galaxy... the whole row turned around ... sooo embarrassing I should have walked out then! :)

Dracula 2000. It was so lame and cliche.
-
You Don't Mess with the Zohan. Horrible!

Yes, even though my policy usually is that no matter how bad a movie is, I'll sit through it. Hollywood still managed to make some movies so incredibly bad that I just gave up and went home.
-
I walked out of The Gods must be crazy and Monkey Bone. I just didn't get either one. The comedy Just wasn't my type at the time.
-
Yes. Epic Movie.
-
Fast Food Nation. Nothing but epic wanketry and mutual masturbation.
-
Pulp Fiction. I just wasn't up to the language. I know it is a "good" movie and the language is part of the "art" but I just wasn't up to it that day so I walked out. I have not walked out on any other movies that I recall.
