  • Depends on how much you like the people you are driving to see.
  • considering air plane tickets are really low right now, why drive when you can fly? I would for my direct family only. No cousins, aunts, ect.
  • I am driving two hours to Ventura on Thanksgiving... I am not looking forward to the drive. I am, however, looking forward to seeing my dad. I'm not, however, looking forward to seeing my stepmom. I am, however, looking forward to eating some turkey and drinking a lot of beer. I am not, however, looking forward to the two hour drive home the next morning... I'll stop now. >:)
  • I've done two hours before. When I was in college, I was working graveyard shift. Columbus is about 2 hours maybe 2.5 hours from Cleveland. I worked from 11pm to 5am and drove all the way to Cleveland just to get some turkey. My boss threatened my job if I werent at work the following night, but I didnt show up. I dont know if I would drive four hours under those circumstances, but I think I would. Any longer than four hours, even four hours and 1 minute, no I wouldnt. it also depends on how good the food is too. :)
  • All depends on who I'm driving to see.
  • I have never had to drive as I enjoy cooking and the holidays are usually done at my place. So no need for me to even think about driving any great distance. Although this year I will be doing a solo thanksgiving.
  • Luckily most of my family lives close by and I do not have to travel...But I would if needed.
  • If it's within a day's drive, I'll drive it. If it's further than that, I'd fly it once I get my plane (and license).
  • I would drive however far I need to drive to spend Thanksgiving with the people I love.
  • I think five hours would be my limit but if I had tickets to an NFL game then I would happily drive double that!
  • If that's how far away my family lived, yes I would. Fortunately, my family only lives about 20 minutes away, and my s/o's family is just over an hour.
  • If I wanted to spend time with someone or my family I would drive wherever. Doesn't matter how long it took me.
  • I would drive 2 hours and nothing longer than that, unless I was staying overnight.
  • Yes I would drive any distance to be with people I cared about. This year I was flying down from San Francisco to LA for Thanksgiving . Instead I had to come back to Europe.
