  • I usually put water in the pan, a couple drops of soap, and put it on the stove to heat up. That works for most things. For the crud you can't get that way, use Spray-on oven cleaner.
  • put coca cola in pan bring to boil then leave on heat for 10 mins that works
  • Take it from a restaurant dishwasher - a bit of baking soda and a dryer fabric softener sheet, with enough water to cover the burn plus that much more. Bring it to a boil, and then reduce to a simmer. Let simmer until water is JUST above the burned area, and then turn off and let cool until warm. This usually works, unless it is really, really bad, then you may need to repeat it a few times. (Used this on a huge aluminum (not nonstick) pan that had potato soup in it that burned about 1/2 an inch thick. Took several times of doing it, scraping out what I could in between, but that pan came clean)
