  • Um...no.
  • Not unless they want to become part of the U.S.
  • no. why would we care it not our government and we don't live in that government so we could choose a really bad government and ruin your country. if people are meanies.
  • Do they pay taxes here? Nope.
  • Sure. Make them pay our taxes, too.
  • As much as I love my Canadian friends, I see no benefit for them or us for them to vote on our presidents. So I have to go with no.
  • Uhh... they aren't U.S citizens, so no.
  • What kind of question is that? Should Americans be able to vote for a Canadian president or Mexico's? I don't DR questions, but really, that question is pointless.
  • Sure why not, hell we don't enforce the borders anyway and or immigration laws...come on down..everyone else is. All you have to do is say that you will vote democrat and they will hand you a ballot..no questions asked. Being serious though I would wager if you came down to visit and go to a polling booth, they would hand you a ballot..no questions asked.
  • I do, the more, the merrier!
  • they could have a mock election and see who they think is the best choice.
  • That is just silly.
  • The current Canadian elections showed a large lack of participation on behalf of the Canadians, one that hasn't been recorded for quite some time apparently, so if they won't even vote in their own country, never mind someone else's lol. But, seriously, no, I don't think that's a very good idea, for various evident reasons. :/
  • No, why should they?
  • I'd rather preserve the constitution, but besides that, hell yeah, why not a world vote!?
  • As an Albertan, I can make connections to the system in the United States, however only the citizens of any country should be able to vote in their elections. We can still support the McCain/Palin ticket vocally, though. ;)
  • No, not unless Canada wants to become our next 14 states.
  • Sure, if they gives up they citzenship there and get applied and approved for citzenship here... not otherwise. Nothing against the Canadian....
  • no but on behalf of Canadians I will say that some of them seem to know more about HOW to vote and who to vote for for the US than some of the citizens in the US do. Seems the Canadians I have heard from on here focus on the issues at hand and most Americans are focusing on racist issue and not important issues at hand. It's sad that Canadians would do a better job at picking US president than some US citizens would
  • Not at all, nor should any citizens of any other country. Nothing irritates me more than those who chose to live on the other side of a border somehow feel they should somehow have a say in how others should behave or act. THAT freedom to choose our own destiny is what this nation was founded on. So why does anyone put any stock in the views of those who have no interest in "walking a mile in our shoes", so to speak.
  • Absolutely NOT! And NO to the North American Union!
  • I see what you are getting at. We can blame this whole mess on the Canadians... That is so ingenious, it might just work. Hell yeah!!! Lets get the paperwork started on this one. I will sign the petitions but it might not hold much water since they don't let me vote anymore anyway. I had a similar idea involving our neighbors to the South. I thought it was my patriotic duty to bring as many hardworking people into this country as I could. My methods might have been somewhat questionable looking back but I don't think that should matter in the long run. My intentions were good. If we wouldn't have had to stop at the last weigh station and those damn dogs...dogs every where....They took my whole nest egg.... That is cool....when I get out of here, I am gonna jump right on this Canadian situation. My normal fee is 5grand per person but we can work this out. I know we can.
  • Sure..they just have to become citizens first! :)
  • i think yes because they have some organisations which are controlling whole of world so not only canadians butt all of the coutries should be given a right to vote there.
  • Heck, no! I don't want to be held responsible for your messes as well as our own!
  • No. Canada is a totally different country with its own Constitution, government, set of laws, and lawmakers. They have their own elections. Plus, where would it stop? Next thing you know Mexico will want the right to vote in the US Presidential election because they too are our neighbors.
  • no, why would you even ask that question? they are not us citizens.
  • Hell No!!!!!!!!!. Are you crazy?
  • Only after we burn their capital and occupy them for a couple decades while American companies extract their natural resources.
  • Yesss...If: US citizens get discounted rate on Maple Syrup. Free Molson dudes!!!!!! Keep the LeBatt! US citizens can work in Canada (prefered status over Commonwealth Citizens). US citizens get discounted rates on all hockey games. US citizens are allowed to serve in their military. Canada must finally recognize Alaska as one of their provinces. #######################Side Note: After all, SAC (Strategic Air Command), on 9/11, was taking orders from The Royal Canadian Air Force while George Bush couldn't make up his mind whether to relay the jet fighters to NYC. That's true... So yeah...give Canadians (Canadiens) the vote. They run our Air Force in times of peril....Even Prince Harry has given air strike commands to USAF pilots in Afghanistan. Vive le Canada!
  • given the singular superpower status of the usa and our tendency to blow up the nations that disagree with our president, maybe, just maybe, those other industrialized and third world nations ought to be allowed to cast some form of vote - if not the traditional ones that americans enjoy.
  • I do, the more the merrier!
  • NO. AND SAME WITH MEXICANS, OR ANY OTHER PEOPLES FROM COUNTRIES OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES CITIZENSHIP. ONLY LEGAL CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO VOTE FOR OUR OWN COUNTRY'S CONCERNS. IF WE ALLOWED ANY NON-CITIZEN FROM ANY COUNTRY TO VOTE IN THE U. S. ELECTIONS, HOW SCARY WOULD THAT BE??? I'D SAY UNBELIEVABLY SCARY! U.S. CITIZENS, ALSO, SHOULD NOT VOTE IN OTHER COUNTRIES ELECTIONS. THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME SHARE.
  • Uh no. They are in a different country.
  • No, your vote in the country you're a citizen of.
  • No. Just, no.
  • Only if we get free canadian healthcare haha just kidding no
  • No nor should Mexicans, or any other person who is not a U.S. citizen.
