  • Republican. McCain-Palin 2008.
  • Republican :)
  • Small "L" libertarian. (I classify myself as a Classical Liberal.) I do not align myself with any one party.
  • More on the Republican side, even though I don't agree 100% with everything .
  • Independent....with tendencies towards being a liberal republican and a conservative democrat.........however, i'm a registered democrat who early voted for McCain-Palin
  • Democrat OBAMA/ BIDEN 08 TIME FOR CHANGE
  • Picking a political side is like picking your nose. It's not socially acceptable to the opposition and is shunned by society. I'll just say that I tend to be concerned with the record of a politician before considering throwing my vote behind them. I may be politically challenged.
  • Independent
  • Liberal.
  • Hello Shatzee... I am a traditional conservative. I believe that the family (mom and dad) is the nucleus of society. I believe fostering life is our obligation. I believe the constitution is brilliant just the way it is..I believe in protecting OUR borders, OUR language and OUR culture. I believe in limited government intrusion and I am against any gov. bail-outs of any kind. I believe there are certain ideals that made this country great and they were NOT abortion, gay marriage welfare or single motherhood (or abandoning fathers) I believe that business, of all sizes, is what drives our economic well being, Not taxes and gov.spending.
  • Conservative.
  • I consider myself a conservative independent. I grew up as a Democrat but the party lost me particularly on the moral issues. However, even though I normally vote Republican, I can not entirely consider myself Republican because I don't agree a lot of time with some of their economic plans. I must admit a lot of the tax breaks do help the rich.
  • Overall I find political parties to be equally full of it, the difference being that Republicans/conservatives are much nastier and judgmental on the surface, but (and a very big but) Democrats/liberals catch up quickly when it is all said and done. Both ooze blatant hypocrisy and I can say with confidence I will never be a member of either. Libertarians don't do it for me either. I agree with some aspects of what they stand for but find them to be among the ickiest people on the planet in that creepy Ann Rynd sorta way. Obviously, I don't know many Libertarians personally since they are still a growing but minor party compared to the two big fish, so there may be some that don't come off as having the compassion of Dracula. I just have not met them and the ones I have encountered on here have not helped that impression. In other words, I tend to catch hell from all sides because fanatical ideologues tend to tune everything out but their own political religion, regarding everyone who does not swallow it as somehow "uninformed". Since I don't believe religion should run our lives and that the government has no business legislating personal stuff like sexual preference, i tend to be at odds more with Republicans than Democrats. Also, I think just the nature of Conservatism versus Liberalism fosters more of a "you are either with us or one of them" attitude, leading to me being slammed more by Republicans than Democrats. Be that as it may, the patronizing bullshit of Democrats is actually more annoying than the meanness of Republicans at times. In other words, I'm a multicolored, oozing, swirly, oddshaped thingy whatever in a sea of blue and red. :( politics suck! let the DRs begin!!!
  • independent.
  • Republican.
  • Independent.
  • Libertarian
  • Non political
  • Progressive...
  • independent sometimes i lean to the right and sometime the left
  • Independent. I'm a centrist at heart, I believe that there is no black and white where politics are concerned. I vote for the person, not their letter.
  • Independent. I am extremely contemptuous of political parties in general. I'm conservative on some issues and more liberal on others, but I always try to base my political opinions on reason rather than on emotion.
  • Conservative. I think Republicans today have abandoned their principles and are the cause of (or at least aided and abetted) many of our problems today.
  • I would call myself nominally Progressive. I think author/radio host Thom Hartmann explains it well: "I don't want the government making my shoes or my TV set. But there ARE 'commons' that we all SHARE, and that we manage through our government." I am also a strong Civil Libertarian. The government needs to butt out of what I read, what I watch, who I talk to, and what I advocate. Conversely, the government needs to be as TRANSPARENT as possible to the public. When the Constitution says that the government shall account for public expenditures, it does NOT exempt the CIA, NSA, and Pentagon 'black' programs, no matter what the Supreme Court said in Richardson v. United States.
  • I'm a conservative republican except i hate religions and i'm very pro science and stem cell research.
  • Conservative first, Republican second
  • Anarchosyndicalist. And the uniquely Amerikan belief that everyone must fall somewhere inside the incredibly narrow ideological boundaries of mainstream Amerikan political parties is, frankly, annoying and obnoxious.
  • The "World's Smallest Political Quiz" is only 10 questions and it summarizes your political convictions. I'm a liberal. http://www.theadvocates.org/quizp/index.html
  • A Radical!
  • I would like to be able to say "Libertarian," but they carry the free market economic concept to absurd extremes. I suppose I will be forced to remain an independent with libertarian economic leanings, and a hawk in the international relm.
  • Independent=)
  • I am a Democrat, thus a member of the Democratic Party..I have some liberal tendencies, although I would not call myself a "liberal". Believe it or not I don't think Republicans are evil. There have been some in the past whom I've admired, even though I might not have agreed with some of their positions. I don't know where they've disappeared to, though. I'm patiently waiting for them to come back and claim their party back and get rolling again. Happy Saturday! :)
  • I am a left leaning Centerist. To simplify, I am socially liberal and fiscally conservative.
  • Whatever Ron Paul considered himself to be.
  • Independent
  • Just a voter that votes for who she agrees with and no party at all.
  • I'm an independent democratic republican
  • Independent. I've voted for all kinds of folks. Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Green, Independent, etc. Alas, the ability to get things done, relies upon some of the two parties willingness to give and take. And it seems that way too many Democrats give too much, and the Republicans do nothing but take, and take and take.
  • democrat for democracy.
  • Moderate. I have some liberal leanings and some conservative leanings.
  • Republican. :)
  • Conservative-Independent
  • I call myself a self server as I vote for the person I agree with and I do not care what party they are from.
  • Republican
