  • Luxury is always better. It's provides comfort and the necessities for easy living. Guess I've just developed a lazy attitude after working 36 years for my bread and butter.
  • Luxury so I can be in a better place.
  • Who would choose to live in poverty?? If youre backpacking and travelling around third world countries its different, but most people prefer luxury given a choice ha!
  • Luxury, every time. I've done poverty.
  • Luxury and I don't believe an explanation is needed.
  • Luxury..being broke is no fun
  • I am a Christian and my response would be the most wonderful passage from the Bible, where the writer prays: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, 'Who is the LORD ?' Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God. Proverbs 30:8-9 (New International Version)
  • Why in hell would i want to live in poverty?!!!
  • Luxury of course. I've been poor. The trick is to be rich but maintain your humility and appreciation for life and what you are fortunate enough to have. Not everyone can do that.
  • I would live in Luxury but it would average out to be middle class because of the Donations to carefully selected non-profits that take care of the poor that I would donate too. I don't like fancy homes and cars anyway...
  • Luxury, which masochist would prefer poverty? Does this make sense?
  • It would depend on how happy I was in either situation
  • Luxury of course, but then again you have to define Luxury as for some indoor plumbing and hot and cold running water might be considered a luxury. In the presence of bows and arrows a gun might be a luxury ... or or 3 meals a day for the starving might be a Luxury.. wait wait ... a Home for the Homeless might be a luxury ... so a Luxury is sort of different for each person ... but ALL LUXURIES are taxed accordingly so beware ... ~Nemo~ I know, I know sorry but I woke up in a mood ...
  • I already live in luxury. I have a nice home, great family, awesome job, super friends. That's all i want. I'm happy with what i got.
  • Being a 14 year old white kid that got my meals from the dumpsters behind grocery stores in Watts, I know what poverty is. I now live in the world of the top 5% of income earners and I believe I still remember where I came from and how much work and determination it took to get where I am today. The idea of luxury is relative to your perception of what is wealth. for some, it is a good family and a happy life, others it may be the cars and image they portray. I contend that it is being happy in whatever position life has given to you. make the best of it and if you want to change, then Change, NO EXCUSES! Don't leave a wake of ashes behind. just be a better you, and your progression has no limits, both personally and financially.
  • luxury...simly i want it
  • Poverty, I would remain as a down to earth individual, and the more money you have- the more problems you gain.
  • If I can live in luxury and not be greedy like some people..meaning I would still care for those less fortunate with time, money, food, etc. of course I will take luxury. but If being rich will make me rude, greedy uncaring, just keep me in poverty. I worry daily about how to pay bills but I will give my last can of soup to a starving person if they need it and I like that personality.
  • Luxury, I'm no martyr.
  • luxury of course because then I could do something about poverty!
  • Luxury. I've already lived in poverty, I'm down to earth enough... . That being said, I am fortunate to have lived in poverty, for it has brought me understanding and realization like nothing else could.
  • luxury, they have a better medical plan and dental plan. its the little things that make retirement fun.
  • Poverty, People who live in poverty barely have anything to lose and would accept eventually that they may become broke. Luxurious people know only that they're better then poverty, but once their money runs out they become ever more depressed then people that are in poverty. People who are in poverty would be more happy than those luxurious, as luxurious people often dwell with a fake happiness and fake friends who only accept them for their worth.
  • Oh, my choice would be the same as if I had to decide between being healthy or sick, good looking or ugly Duh! Duh! Duh!
  • Anybody who says poverty has never experienced it
  • Luxury of course.
  • Duh, luxury.
  • I would want to live above poverty but below luxury. In poverty I would have to struggle even for the basic necessities of life but in luxury I would have too much. I may become too complacent, egocentric and even arrogant. I remember the words of Mrs Indira Gandhi that it is wrong to live luxury when so many people in the world are living in abject poverty.
  • You mean to tell me there's actually a choice? And, btw, anybody that says poverty is so full of shit and such a lying hypocrite that they need to be bitch slapped out of it!
