  • The taking of someone's most valued possession, their life, is not in a right that belongs to you. Would you want somebody to murder you because you hurt their feelings?
  • Because you may end up forgiving them and getting back together :)
  • Because we're not in the freaking Dark Ages. lol?
  • Because the majority would deem it excessive!
  • The crime does not fit the punishment. IT feels like hell and it huts like hell... but serioudlym if you wanted to kill the one you "loved" did you really love them????????
  • My friend tried to kill me for cheating on a test, is that the same thing?
  • Because if it wasn't then people would run around killing others and claiming that they cheated.
  • You won't believe this, but it's against the law to kill anyone, PERIOD. Gosh-a-mighty, what has this world come to? The Deists, the Puritans, the Christians, and even the founding fathers have all conspired against you to make murder illegal. However, if you join the McCain-Palin militia, you can stand in the crowd and shout "Terrorist!!" and "Kill him!!" They might even slip you $100 afterwards. <shhh> Keep it under your hat.
  • as much as i do understand the question...the answer is because murder is against the law, as it should be. The punishment MUST fit the crime and therefore needs to be in the hands of a jury. If it were up to morality or the church, we would ALL be in danger. Throughout history, 100,000's people have been killed for crimes (sins) as silly as a woman wearing pants.
  • Because you are much nicer than that
  • Because murder is frowned upon in our society, as you know. But if you kill your cheating spouse in the heat of the moment [like at the exact moment you find him in bed with another woman] it would be deemed a 'crime of passion' and your sentence would be much less severe.
  • It is? Shit!
  • unfortunately it is. probably to protect all the law makers that have affairs...
  • People are always at risk of disapointment when they believe in forces outside of their own. Other people do not deserve to be killed because of that.
  • Why would it be legal in the first place to kill a cheating spouse?
  • People make mistakes and you cant kill everyone that screws up in life. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
  • Hmmmm I think its against the law to kill anyone unless your at war, or the warden saying flip the switch.
  • because you are not authorised to be plaintiff, judge, jury, and executioner. even if you were the punishment would not fit the crime, he did not end anyones life, if you put enough into him that him cheating ends your life it is still you who chose to end your life. however, why isn't cheating illegal? atleast in the case of mairage it is breaking a legal contract with someone else. yet we have the nerve to make prostitution illegal which is just 2 people fulfilling a mutualy beneficial contract.
  • Of course it is. That's a sick question.
  • Because you took that risk when you entered into the relationship. Murder is murder and wanting to kill someone just shows that you have not got over the hurt yet. In time you will and then will probably feel bad for what you did in taking his life, after all a part of you did love him even if his love wasn't true. If we all got to kill someone because they hurt us emotionally the world would be in chaos.
  • Here a song for ya
  • Well in the first place cheating isn't breaking a law. He is wrong but it isn't illegal.
  • Because two wrong don't make a right.
  • A)A partner could a partner for different reasons and claim they were cheating ... i.e King Henry VIII of England B)because people do not belong to you ... as much as cheating is unfair and a betrayal, you cannot force someone to remain faithful. C) cheating, when all is said and done, isn't the worst thing in the world ... murder is
  • uh.. if they've broken into your your house...and you found him/her screwing your S/O with a 12gage... then yeah.. i'd say it would be safe to kill it.
  • Thats because everyone stops and thinks about it then its pre meditated murder. Gotta catch em in the act go psyco and then plead innocent due to temporary insanity!
  • Because murder is murder. I wonder why it isn't against the law to cheat! It's against the law to steal, run red light, etc. When people cheat they steal something from the victim.... so it should at least be against the law if they are proven to be cheaters.
  • It's not against the law to kill someone for cheating. It is against the law to kill period
  • Because we would run out of men.
